These cookies are delicious. Fresh, crispy, flavorful. Since Amazon didn't have the European cookies I usually buy, I decided to try these. I'm so glad I did. They come loosely put in a tin, but they weren't broken. The variety is good and the taste is not overly sweet. There are quite a few so the cost is reasonable, especially since the quality is so good. I'll be buying these again.

I purchased this cookie sampler because it was from Italy. My husband is Italian and we used to visit his family often. Italian products are great, so when I saw this cookie tin, I thought I'd get it for the holidays. I expected this to be like the Danish butter cookies, each variety in it's own paper liner and in two layers - the tin is deep. Instead, the tin is lined in corrugated cardboard (the type for pastries and cookies), but all of the cookies are just thrown in there. When I opened the nice tin, there was a parchment round and then a cardboard round beneath it. I lifted it up and inside was a mess of crumbs and cookies. Every cookie was covered in crumbs. There were some pretty cookies in there, but they didn't look pretty because of the mess. I had to clean it up and I tried to organize the cookies, but in the end, I feel that I wasted my money. The cookies didn't even taste that good. I could have purchased the Danish butter cookies, paid much less and enjoyed them much more. I wouldn't buy these cookies again.

Mid morning snack with coffee these delicious ( Matilde Vicenza, Selected Assorted Cookies ) really are Fine Cookies. I take them to work with me for mid morning snack.the sturdy tin they come in keep the cookies fresh & whole not broken, ( Okey maybe a few broken ones but still Great ). Everyone” should try these really Good Cookies & and with cold glass of milk too,

Cookies are great. Crisp and very tasty. Good thing I bought these for myself and not as a gift because the tin had multiple large dents.

I ordered this to send to my brother for his birthday. The price was reasonable and I thought that having cookies in a cute container would be nice. My brother called me yesterday and let me know that the cookies were delicious! There were plenty of cookies to share with his family. I might order it again next year!

I was worried because of some of the bad reviews and pictures. But I was happily surprised when I received mine. The tin was in perfect condition and so were the cookies. Not a single one was broken. It's a very nice selection to set on a table or give as a gift. I recommend and might buy again :)

You cannot return the product, I wouldn't bother buying this on line again. Go to a store to get it if you really want to. I wouldn't though, I usually enjoy this brands products. Not this one. Im an advocate for don't bash it if you don't try it. They're not horrible. Just all the same tasting and dry. As for tamper rating, the tin is sealed with just two tapes and one was horribly tampered with. Bag on the inside was sealed, don't know if that still means it's safe. Took a gamble, after making sure there were no holes or signs of resealing. Not bothering to finish it or try more. 80% of the biscuits were broken. They all taste the same. I usually enjoy this brands products. Not this one.

Less than impressed. They all taste the same… kind of crumbly… Something I would expect from a discount store. Not something I would order again
