Review: Amazing company!! - My well control center cracked yesterday afternoon from the freezing weather. I’m in the Davy Crockett National Forest area where there isn’t a nearby store to purchase these items. I ordered this kit at 8:00 last night and it was delivered at 8:00 this morning. Man, I am beyond impressed with the product quality, pricing, and speed of delivery. This took me from emergency to no problem while I slept.
Review: Having to do plumbing work sucks, but not as much as paying a plumber. - Frozen well to pressure tank PVC broke during the holidays. While getting ready to repair, found the brass nipple to pressure switch had corroded to the point of breaking off in the tee connection. Decided to replace everything and use a tee with union for future access. Everything delivered as described, and with the substitution of PEX for PVC, installation was as simple as could be expected. Going from 30/50 to 40/60 switch, I pressurized the tank to 38 psi, turned on the pump and was back in business. Make sure to note that this kit does not include a valve for tank to house shutoff capability,, so make sure you can reuse your existing valve or purchase the appropriate valve at the same time.

**Q: What size is the ingoing and outgoing ports?   it says tee has both 1" male and 3/4" female ports, but does that mean that one side is 3/4 and the oth**
A: No  the tee has 1"external threads and is threaded at 3/4 " internally on both sides. Thus it will accommadate a variety of incoming and outgoing pipe sizes.  A veru good product and the union is a terrific bonus.  Great product.

**Q: Does anyone have a diagram of how this is connected to well and tank?**
A: Connect to TANK!  Not to WELL!  The tee is simple; one end=well water in...other end= water from tank to house...the "T" pipe to the TANK!  SIMPLE/WORKS WELL!

**Q: Why is the water out connector 1-1/4” ?**
A: Probably some plumbing code, I put a reducer coupling from 1-1/4 to 1"  for my setup. No big deal. You can get whatever size reducer coupling you need

A: If you are saying your house is connected to a community water system, you have a well hooked upto a yard or other type outside hydrant but have no drain valve on your tank tee and you want to relieve the pressure on your system then yes, with pump off and hydrant open, pressure will be relieved. If this doesn't answer your question maybe you could restate it in a bit more detail.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything you need, great bang for the buck!

This kit is absolutely the bee's knees. I recommend it! I got the 40/60 version, and the pressure switch is relatively accurate, running just a hair on the high side. Everything is in there that you need for connecting a new pressure tank to your system. Anytime you change your pressure tank, you really need to change all these components as well. I didn't realize how bad the original pressure switch and the gauge had gotten. The one thing you will need to pick up is some decent teflon tape, or as I prefer, some good quality Teflon pipe dope. The bonus Teflon tape was, I suppose, serviceable but I prefer better stuff. I'm old school, so I use pipe dope. I've seen a couple negative reviews on here regarding the included pressure gauge and it not being accurate, and while this is not a high-end gauge with liquid fill, It seems to work fine, seems relatively accurate, and does its job. No complaints. I would also like to point out that the union style of this tee is the solution I did not know I needed till I used it. It is so nice to be able to adjust the angle / position of the tee without having to mess with the threads going into the tank. Definitely a lifesaver! I was going to buy these items including the tee and the pressure switch, etc, at a local big box store. but of course they did not have everything I needed. And this solution ended up being much cheaper than buying them separately at the store. Another thing you may want to consider is getting a plug for the tee rather than using the pressure relief valve. I did that simply because I don't have a place to vent the valve if it pops off. (My system is under my house, in the crawl space. Not a place I want water.) So you would need to track down a 1/2 npt plug if you do what I did. Just bear in mind that the pop off valve is there for a reason. As far as a pressure tank, you will be better off getting that local because shipping is going to eat you up, and of course they have to hide that in the price.
