HDE AK-47 Bullet Shell Casing Magazine Party Novelty Plastic Ice Jello Chocolate Tray Mold

These worked better than expected. I have only used them for chocolate. I even did the tip off the bullet a different shade than the shell. Only problem I had was a couple always have a small piece from the bottom stay in the mold from a ring detail. Other than that it worked great . Trick is to fill it up a little full put both sides together while chocolate is still a little runny and right into the freezer. You will notice some oozing out of a small hole on one side. After the chocolate has ccompletely hardened pop them out. Like I said a couple turn out with tiny chip but most stayed in tack.

It's a little hard to use at first, but with time you can start to understand how to make good molds of the bullets. Mind you, they're not going to all be perfect, but at least you can get majority of them molded nicely. There's a hole above each mold for each bullet, I assume this is to make sure that when the ice expands underneath the plastic, it won't break your mold. It doesn't show in the preview image, but this mold covers itself pretty well and it locks into place.

I purchased the bullet shaped tray for something outside it's purpose and it works great! I have an anal fissure and I found that freezing coconut oil in this tray to make home made suppositories has helped me out a ton on relief and healing. Coconut oil melts fairly quickly so you can kind of rub the bullet to be smoother for easier insertion. Strange, but it worked out great and glad I bought it.

I purchased this for my son's birthday party to make chocolate bullets and it didn’t work at all for me. I have used many molds, but this one wasn’t that great. It didn’t come out of the mold very well and when I went to twist it to get it to come out, my mold cracked. I had to throw them away and just get rolos to resemble the bullets. I will not recommend this product.

I do not know if I am somehow filling up the thing wrong or what but the water does not really freeze in clean bullet shapes. I have to break off a lot of flat pieces of ice and it was more hassle than it was worth. I still thought it was funny though. Might be interesting as a gag gift.

Snaps were hard to open and you have to place this on a tray or you will have an icy mess in the freezer, but the bullet ice cubes do look neat.

It was a gift. Was fun but i think if you used distilled water it would look much better. Trays are cheap and locking clip broke after a few uses.

a little confusing at first on how to fill the tray and to take them out. But pretty cool. But I did think the tray would be a lot bigger.
