Great hub expansion!
i got the thermalright argb fan hub controller to manage the lighting and fan speed of multiple fans in my setup and it’s been really convenient. the hub supports up to 8 groups of fans, which made my wiring way neater and easier to handle compared to running cables all over inside my case. the compact black plastic body is light and doesn’t take up much space behind my motherboard tray. installing it was pretty simple—i used the included strong adhesive pad and the magnetic mount to keep it securely in place. the sata power input gives it reliable power without adding cable clutter, and i plugged in the 4-pin pwm fan connector plus the 5v 3-pin argb lighting cables with no issues. it’s important to note this supports 5v 3-pin argb fans and accessories but not the 12v 4-pin rgb, so compatibility matters depending on your gear. once powered, the hub syncs smoothly with my motherboard’s lighting software and pwm fan control, so i get consistent speeds and lighting effects across all connected fans without lag or mismatch. it handles multiple fans well without slowing down the controller or causing weird flickering. i like that everything’s modular, so you can add or remove fans without too much hassle. overall, the thermalright fan hub controller made my build cleaner and easier to control. if you’re running several fans and want them all synced for lighting and speed, this one keeps cables managed, works reliably, and installs without fuss. it’s a solid choice if your system uses 5v 3-pin argb fans and you want simple centralized control.

This is not a fan controller strictly argb controller you'll need a separate fan controller
I was going to give it one star because the description says fan controller but here's the case It works for RGB but it is not a fan controller although you can use the four pins on the motherboard for some argv fans to power the fans and this to power of the RGB but considering the description says it is a fan controller I would not recommend it unless you have a four pin slot on your motherboard for an extra fan so you plug in the headers from your fans to your motherboard and the argb header to this if you've got that kind of setup this is perfect for you and it does work well you don't have this kind of setup I would look for something else the same company makes another version with half the amount of argb ports but it has the fan header input as well really cheap price and good build quality though for the money super easy to use very straightforward just plug in one of the power cords that come off of your PSU that would normally go to your HDD or SSD plug it in on one side and if you have an adapter cord to go from j rainbow or jrgb to argb from your motherboard it can work well that way I also did see that it worked well with a argb converter but not working with another brand that I tried but you get what you pay for but if you're just lucky me for something to control your argb devices like me and you have a adapter to go from your motherboard to argb it does work great it comes with double-sided tape for easy fitment so it fits nice the build quality seems decent enough I mean it's plastic but it does look good and does its job

Good
Work great and installs very easy. The stick pad on the back holds good. Great way to organize your RGB or fans in a custom PC build. Reasonably priced as well.

fantastic rgb hub
Im only using it for its rgb controller I have all my fans plugged into motherboard so I can control the fan speeds through there. My rear /front rgb fans connected separately direct to my motherboard for rgb MB sync, Im going for a dual color rgb build instead of having all my rgb fans syncing to MB. So my cpu rgb and side intake fans are rgb controlled with the hub. Quite a few more modes than I expected Brightness is quite dimmable which is a plus Installation a breeze, comes with a magnet Remembers the mode upon shutdown Insane value for $10, this brand continues to impress me as I also have there Aio. 10/10

I like it, works as intended
The item is impressive, only reason i left 4 starts is cause i thought it had a light controller heh

Works as promised easy enough to use as long as you know how to plug in wires
Had more styles and settings then I thought it would and the motherboard can also control it instead if you have a different app for it! Works beautifully!

Ruined my argb headers
Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was on the cheaper side and from a brand I've dealt with before. Build Quality The build quality didn't seem bad. There wasn't any deformities on the plastic box. However upon hooking it up to the argb header with the fans as well, ruined my argb headers completely. Now my motherboard won't recognize led input at all. I tried plugging the fans, one at a time and some would light up in one color, red or blue, and some wouldn't. I couldn't control the leds anymore with the motherboard software. I ordered a separate rgb controller to mitigate the loss hoping I didn't lose all functionality of my fans. I was hoping for a better outcome since my pc case didn't have a hub to use. I can't recommend this product at all!

RPM spikes and unresponsive speed control
Wanted to love this thing, I’ve been impressed with some of Thermalright’s fans, but at least in my setup this fan hub had some issues. I was using this with some Thermaltake 120mm fans, which magnetically connect to each other. This meant that four ports on the Thermalright controller each ran a trio of fans. Not sure if that factored in, but mentioning it just in case. I tried the hub both with and without using the LED portion, but sadly issues persisted. When trying to control and monitor fan speeds with the Thermalright chained off a Corsair Commander Pro, I would frequently see large, brief spikes in the reported RMP from the Thermalright, usually every couple of minutes. Sometimes I would try to change the fan speed and it simply wouldn’t budge up or down while the rest of the fans changed speed no problem. I replaced the Thermalright hub with a second Corsair Commander, and the RPM spikes and unresponsive fan issues disappeared.

Handy
It quiet need so hiding in the back side of the case can be difficult. But brilliant to get all the fans on one controller

saves cable management
It easily connects multiple ARGB fans, The build quality is solid, and installation was straightforward with clear instructions. If you're into custom PC builds and want a reliable way to manage both fans and RGB lighting, this is a great choice!

Works as expected!
Be aware this is an ARGB hub only - it does not provide fan power, only lighting. Recommended!

Terrible, doesn’t work
Terrible, doesn’t work on my thermalright argb fans, looks ugly and out of place in my case, even if it’s not visible when back panel closed. but also caused my pc to fail to boot after a day of it being installed. Had to unplug the sata connection and remove from my system to make it work. Don’t be stupid like me, don’t buy this, it’s the worst £8 i’ve ever spent.
