The material is of good quality and heavy enough to stay in place but still lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. While it wasn’t what I purchased it for, the material does offer a bit of warmth as well - good for a chilly rain. The buttons along the sides allow you to form more fitted sleeves which is a great feature for ease of movement and the hood is well-sized and fitted with a drawstring for preferred fitting. I was happy with the length of the sleeves, hood, and overall coverage - it keeps nearly my entire body covered and dry. I chose the green color option and it is a lovely green, just as seen in the pictures. The poncho is easy to fold up into the included compact travel bag for convenience.
