I was worried that water would still get in BUT This is perfect because the hood and the drawstring keep water out of your face and don’t drip in through your neck hole.If you are short like me- 4’11 this is even more perfect because your knees are covered and no water hits your legs. I was able to carry a backpack fully covered. My hair was perfectly dry my bf used a clear button up poncho and he was soaked still.

Tried it yesterday, works great. Hood could be a bit larger, and durability can't be rated yet. But I like it!
