Review: I bought this for one specific feature: it works as a "web cam" UVC on Mac computers - This is an excellent full-featured thermal camera. It's expensive, but in my view represents reasonable value. But I bought this for one specific feature. Out-of-the-box without any modifications I can use it with my MacBook to "screen cast" to a projector when giving public talks. One switches on the camera and then plugs in the camera using the cable provided. One is then prompted on the camera to connect using a USB Cast Screen mode or USB Disk mode. Choosing Cast Screen the device functions as a web-cam (a UVC - universal video camera). One can then view the screen of the device on the computer or projector using VLC Media player or Quicktime. I am sure the analysis software is great for professional surveyors, but the ability to "just work" on a Mac without any specific software requirements is likely to make this camera useful for a very long time.
Review: Brilliant thermal camera, great value - Great resolution for the price, quick to power up and use. Very reliable so far. I wasn't sure about going for the camera-style form factor rather than the more traditional pistol grip type device, but it seemed good value to gave it a try. As it turned out, it works very well, is very easy to use. Spent a lot of time researching the different brands and models and this one seems to be remarkably good value for the resolution it offers, and it does indeed work very well. Very sensitive. Just power it up and within a few seconds you get brightly coloured thermal pictures combined with the outline of the image from the 'real' camera. It is amazing to see hot and cold water pipes glowing in the walls and floors. I bought it to try and locate the source of a leak and it looks as if this one job will more than cover the cost of the device - within about 5 minutes of powering it up we could see the path of a hot water pipe embedded in the floor that looks as if it runs right through where the leak appears to be coming from. We thought the pipe ran behind the shower and were about to take the shower out, but this device makes the pipes litererally glow, we can see there aren't any in the wall where we thought there were. Fantastic bit of kit.

**Q: What is the maximum range of this?  For example, can it accurately detect heat sources from 10 or 20ft away?**
A: I don't know exact range, I use this for thermal imaging for fuse boards / electrical items that are about 3/4 feet away. It does detect further and with the colour palletes you can change colours etc, it depends what heat source you are looking at as to how accurate a temp would be - ie you could pick out a person from 20 feet but not sure how accurate the temp would be

**Q: How long can it be used after a full charge?**
A: Hi, it can be used up to 4 hours.

**Q: What is the minimum focusing distance？**
A: I don't know the exact distance but it works fine when it's 4 to 6 inches away from the subject. It's possible to get a macro lens for the camera too.

Great resolution for the price, quick to power up and use. Very reliable so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Very good, later (11 months of usage) problem with battery unsolved, returned.

Overall very good features and resolutions. Used for medical purposes. Worked well for almost an year. Then a problem with battery that not charging anymore. Try several times contact with company with a delay answering questions and asking for tests I have done. Finally I asked Amazon for a return as a fixing or replacement was not offered by the seller.
