Q: Magnet doesn't attach to lift lid -am I doing something wrong?

If the lid is tight after being opened the magnet will not pull it off when you remove then opener. This has happened to me a few times. I wouldn't worry about it myself..its a great tool...and you can remove the lid by hand no problem.

Q: Will it open salmon tins? TIA

Hi , the opener is designed for the round cans it may travel round but depends on the depth of lip on can and how sharp the turn is also.

Q: Does this work on giant tins? Like 1-2kg ones

If the rim of the can is no bigger than a normal size can this would be fine.

Q: Whats the life span of these things ? And how long do the batterys last
