Harry Potter The Burrows 4840

we are a harry potter loving family: the books, the movies, we love it all. i scooped this set up almost immediately upon learning that lego is discontinuing most of their harry potter sets (this being one of them). it has several hard to find mini figures (arthur and molly weasley being two of them), a pig (so cute!) and two very fun mini publications (the daily prophet and the quibbler) in addition to a lot of fun details. if you can get your hands on a set before they're all gone, i highly encourage you to do so. after hagrid's hut, this is the most played with set in our home...

Excellent set but be mindful of the price. The best rule of thumb for buying LEGO is approximately ten cents per Lego piece unless it's specialty set. So for this I probably wouldn't ever pay more than seventy bucks. You have to weigh how much you want out of production sets to decide how much extra you're willing to pay.

This had so much detail in all the features, a key by each door, a swivel pot. But the most exciting thing my grandson liked was the light brick. He said it was the rarest piece, not in any of his many kits. The only two reasons I didn't rate this five stars was the two parts to each section kept coming apart and had to be rebuilt. There was only one small part holding them together and it wasn't enough. We finally put a spare brick across them to stabilize it until it had more pieces installed. The second reason was that Fang was not included. It had two owls and three small spiders that we would swap for Fang. All in all, this is a great kit and we have enjoyed putting it together.

My daughters gave this to their daddy for Christmas. They had it together in a couple of hours and are having a great time playing with it. There are lots of characters and details with The Burrows. It's a nice size to play with but doesn't take up too much room. A great addition for any Harry Potter and Lego fan!

It is a real nice set but cost way too much. Too bad Lego retired all the HP sets.

My daughter and I put this together twice in the same day and had a blast both times. This toy is easy to put together but with enough pieces to have it be fun for both of us. The instructions were perfect and very very easy to follow. The burrow is a fun lego set to get and the best one I have every gotten!!

Mir wurde mehrfach per Mail bescheinigt, dass das Set komplett ist. Stimmte nicht. Einige Steine fehlten. Doppelt traurig, da es sich um ein Weihnachtsgeschenk gehandelt hat. Jetzt kann ich nur versuchen, die Steine bei Lego online nachzubestellen. Auf diesen kosten bleibe ich dann auch noch sitzen. Echt enttäuschend !!!!!
