Great upgrade for old hard-wired shunt
Easy to install in replacement of an old analogue battery shunt.Love the Bluetooth monitoring capability, the waterproof seal and the quality of the shunt.Note that the settings should be adjusted to take account of the individual battery bank in order to use the percentage remaining and the estimated remaining hours at current energy consumption rate.

As described. A useful way of monitoring batteries remotely. The smart phone interface is much more user friendly than the small panel meter and cuts out the need to wire one in. Good price. Prompt delivery.

Easy setup, accurate information
I had a group 31 lead acid battery for my trolling motor that wouldn’t hold a charge so I replaced it with a LiTime 100amp TM (64lbs down to 23lbs). Works very well but I had no way to know my charge level. After watching a plethora of YouTube videos I decided to spend the extra $$ and buy the Victron Smart Shunt. Great decision! Installation was very easy, took me less than 10 minutes including the software updates. I ran the boat yesterday at 50% and 80% ( Minn Kota MAXXUM 55, results shown in the pictures), both into and with the wind, and was very pleased with the information provided. If you don’t need a physical gauge and are happy with Bluetooth on your cell phone the Victron is an excellent option and I highly recommend it.
