Sealy Heated Mattress Pad California King Dual Control 10 Heat Settings

This serves my needs almost perfectly, near perfect size for me. I was trying to find a king size mattress cover that had dual heating zones for the feet, I couldn’t find one that was exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price from a reputable company. This was very reasonable priced and came close enough to what I wanted. My feet are always freezing when I go to bed, I have a hard time falling asleep until they warm up. I had been using my heated blanket to preheat the foot zone, but I don’t like sleeping with it on because the dogs pile on me to sleep and I get too hot everywhere else. This solves the problem I had, I can turn it on when I’m getting ready for bed, and it will be cozy getting into bed. I really appreciate the wide variety of temperature options, and that low is actually low. These can sometimes be too warm on low, which is not the case here.

My husband is on blood thinners that make him feel the cold even when it’s 90 degrees. This has been a life saver. It heats him gently and because it’s dual control, I don’t have to sleep elsewhere.

I can barely feel the heat even at highest setting on the twin model. Update: It actually works fine and kept my daughter nice and toasty in her cold room. My only criticism is I wish the controls stayed lit up so we could see the temperature and time left. Plus, it's kind of unclear how to turn off...long hold on power button???

Great warming pad. My only complaint is that the fabric doesn't cushion the warming cables, so sleeping on it can be uncomfortable. But you'll be warm!

This replaced an earlier heated pad which had died. We like this one a lot more: - We don't feel the heating coils under us at all. - It heats quickly. - We have separate controls for our respective sides of the bed. It has timer features, though we don't use those. We use this primarily to preheat the bed before going to sleep, turning it off when we get into bed. I will often flip my side on if I get up in the night so it keeps the bed warm for my return. Something I have never understood about all of these heated mattress pads, and this one is no different, is that the controls are of course at the head end of the bed, but the cables connected to the pad itself run under the mattress all the way to the foot of the bed where connectors allows them to be joined. The connectors have some dimension so they can be felt with your foot. The connectors on this particular pad are pretty unobtrusive, but still present. It seems to me that it would make much more sense if the cables connected to the pad at the head end of the bed. They would be far up, under your pillow, where you would never encounter them, plus it would save all that wire that has to be strung under the mattress. (The seeming solution is to simply flip the pad around putting the designated foot end at the head end of the bed and then swapping the controls, but the heating coils are not distributed equally throughout the pad. There are no coils under the head end. If you flipped the pad around, you would begin heating your head while leaving your feet cold.)

We like the controllers. They default to High, which is exactly what my wife prefers. The backlights turn off - by design - to avoid disturbing your sleep. The backlight comes back on when you touch one of the control buttons. The pad doesn’t get as warm as some competitors, but that is fine with me. The fit was very good. Nothing to complain about except for one property of the pad. What bothers us is the electromagnetic field (EMF) emitted by the pad. See my video. An electricians tool to verify that a circuit isn’t energized senses the presence of an EMF on energized wires. I normally have to be within one or two inches of an energized wire for the tool to alarm. This pad caused the tool to alarm at a distance of 8” when the pad was on high and at 15” when the pad was plugged in but turned of!!! No way are we going to live with sleeping on such a pad.

This is perfect. Warms my bed, provides heat through the night keeping my back any legs comfy.

It is a great bed warmer. Fits perfect on mattress. Keeps the bed perfect temperature.
