Is the bottom of the dish (for bottom crust) a more rounded bottom versus the traditional “ledged” shape? It’s hard to tell from the photos!

Yes, it is a rounded shape. I find that this classic 9" pie plate does not hold my traditional pie fillings, it is too shallow. However, it is a beautiful well made, heavy dish that I often use for baked omelets for two or roasted veggies . Hope this helps... Happy Holidays...
