the package says it's grain free but then it says it has peas and lentils in it. Peas and lentils are grains. How is it legal to lie on the label ?

Hello! Please know that grains are seeds derived from grasses called cereals, such as wheat, barley, rye, corn, millet, oats, sorghum, spelt, and rice. Legumes are any plant that grows in a pod, such as peas and lentils. While legumes may be called grains in everyday conversation, however, they are not technically grains. Are the kibbles small enough for a tiny kitten ?

I would say, Yes. I just measured them, and each kibble is just under 1/4 inch around, and smaller than that from top to bottom. If you still had concerns for your tiny kitten, you could probably rinse the kibbles with a bit a water that you then drain off, just to soften them. (My opinion.) You could even ask a vet what they recommend. We fed these to our new kitten from the start, when we got her at 9 weeks old. Our much older cat loves them too.

Why cranberry in cat food?

Blueberries and cranberries are both popular in dog and cat foods for their antioxidant, health and pigmentation qualities

Why sweet potato? It is very high in oxalic acid, will case kidney stones

Sweet potatoes are a great source of both soluble and insoluble fiber, as well as antioxidants such as beta-carotene, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and the minerals potassium, calcium and iron. A dry food, your cats will actually eat!

My cat love this dry food! They are very picky eaters and this is a very high-quality dry food. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny! I’ve been using it for a couple of years and never go without it!

Good but cats didn't love it

This food seemed like a pretty good kibble based on research I've done. I was sad to see my cat's didn't love it. Even my cat who goes crazy for kibble, this is the one we've tried she liked the least. The other cat did not care for this at all.

High quality protein for your kittens

High protein from good sources. First three ingredients are chicken and chicken liver! Small shiny little pieces are easy for kitten to learn to eat. Mine love it!
