They're so fun to use! Smooth, blendable, vibrant and I haven’t broken one yet. I think they’re very inexpensive for this large a set. Definitely beginner friendly and fun for kids too: my nephew has been using them since he was 5.

I purchased this Artecho Oil Pastels set (48 colors) for my niece after finding out she recently got really interested in drawing and experimenting with different art supplies. She had mentioned wanting to try oil pastels, so I thought this would be a great starter set for her. The 48-color variety is actually perfect for beginners. It gives enough colors to explore and be creative without being overwhelming like some of the really large sets. After using them, she told me the pastels feel soft and easy to work with, which makes coloring and blending smoother. That softness seems to make a big difference compared to some harder pastels she had tried before. Sooo nice to work with. Before this I used cheaper ones (cray pas) that weren’t bad for the price but kind of frustrating to work with. These however are laid down so well, and layer amazing. The colors are bright and pastels are pretty large for an oil pastel. I feel the price was very fair from how nicely these work. I’m definitely going to enjoy these.

I used these with my art students. They go onto the paper smoothly and are easy to blend. The colors are rich. Great product.

Die BESTEN!! Ich habe erst vor 1 1/2 Monaten mit Öl-Pastell Kreide angefangen zu malen. Davor NUR mit Kohle und Bleistift. Ich LIEBE diese Stifte und habe mir von der Firma auch noch die „Metalle“, „fluoreszieren“, „schwarz-weiß“ und zu guter letzt noch den 120er Holzkasten gekauft!!! Mit Übung (und auch ein bisschen Talent), kann man immer wieder neue Methoden ausprobieren und entwickeln. Ich kann ohne meine Öl-Pastell Kreiden nicht mehr einen einzigen Tag überstehen! I absolutely LOVE these oil pastels! I am a new to oil pastels, and recently bought 3 sets; this set, Gallery by Mungyo, and Cray Pas Specialists. If you are just starting out, like me, this set gives the most bang for your buck. They are just as creamy as the Gallery pastels, but not quite as opaque. They show up nicely on white and black paper, and are easy to spread with your fingers, a q-tip, or a rolled up bit of paper towel. The blend so nicely. These are my favorites, and if you get them on sale they are half the price as the Mungyo Gallery and feel so very similar. Love these!

Perfetti per me che dipingo per hobby. Molto morbidi, ci speravo e ne sono soddisfatta. Grande varietà di colori.

Goede pastels, fijn om mee te werken. Smeren goed uit en een goed formaat. Goed gepigmenteerd en perfect verpakt ontvangen. Blij mee.

Partiendo de la base que no soy un profesional, y mi opinión puede que no te ayude mucho... pero para empezar en el hobby de la pintura, usarlos en ratos libres, estas en algun taller de pintura, etc... están muy bien. Se difuminan y se mezclan bien los colores. Para mi son un producto muy recomendable tanto por precio como por calidad, pero eso sí partiendo de la base mencionada al principio no soy un profesional, y seguramente si me esta leyendo algún profeisonal esto sea de lo peorcito. Si estás empezando y quieres probar estos óleo color pastel y no te quieres dejar mucho, son una compra acertada. Ademas que te vienen 48 colores que son genial para pintar mucha variedad.
