Good Dye Young DYEposit Color Depositing Conditioner (Pink) - Color Depositing Mask and Fresh Luxury Colorwash

Convenient to have and I like it well enough. It mixes into my conditioner nicely, otherwise I find it doesn't really distribute evenly and ends up leaving your hair patchy (kind of like the OG dye tbh). I've currently got a pastel pink thing going on, so this product will last awhile with that expectation in mind. If I wanted to use this every wash for maintaining a bolder color, this may not be the product I'd reach for. The amount of product I'd have to use to maintain those results would be too much to make this worth it.

I use the GDY Brainwash and got this for a refresh in between dye sessions, and I really want to love it but I just cannot get this to work for me. I've applied it to wet/damp hair and always massage it in evenly and thoroughly (or so I think), and I get the patchiest results ever. It smells great and it definitely deposits color if you leave it on for over 15-20 minutes, but it is insanely patchy and leaves my hair a variety of shades from "generously calling it faded rose gold" to "neon pink." That being said, I have never had any issues with staining and I don't wear gloves to apply this. I actually let it sit in a shower cap and my shower cap shows no sign of pink. This photo was after I used it on level 8-9 hair that was primarily blonde (I had an event and was desperate). I had massaged it in wet hair, combed it, and let it sit for maybe an hour before rinsing with cold water, but it didn't deposit evenly at all. The first time I used it, I used it for maybe 5-10 minutes on less-faded hair and I didn't notice much of a difference. I've used it once since this photo and had the same patchy results with random neon pink areas. I still have some left, so I will be trying it on not-totally-faded hair and with more careful combing at some point. Fingers crossed....

I use this all the time. Vibrant color at first, I like it more pastel though. It fades to a nice pastel pink after a few washes. I’ve been using it for about 2 years now. Color lasts. Easy to use. Love Halsey

I love this product. Very easy to use. You just need to wear gloves and apply cream on to your hair. Smells good. Only minor point is this doesn’t stay long enough. It will stay 2-3days . But so far I love the product!

I love love love this product!! It has made having fun color in my hair actually possible. I’m not the best at dyeing my own hair and this makes everything so easy. 100% recommend to anyone who wants low maintenance upkeep on beautiful vibrant colors!
