I have tried so many hair catchers for my current shower and this is the first one that has worked! The others either didn't fit, or slowed the water down drastically, or let the hair go into the drain anyway, but this one seems to catch everything, is easy to clean, and doesn't slow down the drainage just by being there.

As a woman who grew up with 4 sisters, I really wish we had this growing up to avoid the "shame snake" we had to use when our drain inevitably clogged with the most vile hairballs. The removable center piece captures hair far more effectively than I originally believed it would. The hair easily comes away from the center post and now I don't have to dread cleaning the shower. The only ding against the product is that the shower doesn't drain as fast with the drain protector in place. It's not so bad that water pools at my feet, but enough to know almost instantly when it's time to clean out the catch. Additionally the base that sits in the drain has a phenomenal suction...that causes the smallest pool water retained water to sit in the tub. Easy fix, just pop up the catch and the water drains right down, but if you have a weirdness with stagnant water, you've been warned. Overall - still a total game changer, and so much cleaner to empty than other drain catches I've used. Would buy again.

This worked like a charm, it does leave some water accumulated, but catches hair and tough soap residue. Cleaning is so easy and quick because it's silicone. It fit into the bath tub perfectly. Installation took less than 30 seconds. I accidentally stepped on it a few times, it pushed itself back up with no problem. This is our new the most reliable, sturdy method.

The top piece does its job and catches hair, but debris gets into the bottom piece and clogs the drain. The bottom piece needs a complete redesign. It cannot be taken apart to clean and you can't fit in a finger to clear blockage. You have to use tweezers just to get into the space.

I have long hair and this does an excellent job of catching loose hairs preventing the drain from clogging. It fits tight in the drain, functions well, easy to clean, and allows the water to flow when not full.

OXO makes great stuff - but I'm not so sure about this particular product. I bought a used item to save money. But the item was damaged and should not have been resold. I used it for a week anyway and it does catch hair and the top part is very simple to remove by simply picking it up, and it's a breeze to remove the collected hair. But the lower part that sits into the drain is very difficult to remove bc it's so narrow you cannot get your fingers inside to grip the post to lift up. It seems you will be removing the top part weekly, and removing the bottom part only perhaps once per month. In any event will return bc it's broken and not sure if I will reorder

Really happy with this, couldn't find anything that would stop hair blocking our awkward shower waste. This catches the vast majority of hair, is not too difficult to keep clean and actually looks quite good!

This was a very worthy purchase. Needs to be cleaned out at the end of every hair wash. Saves my tub drain, after I wash my long hair. No more pulling up "rats" of hair from clogged pipes!

This is a much-needed purchase. It’s incredibly durable and easy to clean. Even after using it for months, there are no signs of rust.

This tiny thing is just amazing. Makes cleaning so much easier. A little bit pricey but no regret getting it.
