I had a steam mop made by another well-know (UK) brand which started leaking after only 6 months, and wasn't that effective. This is in a different league. Simple to use and so effective. I was shocked by the grime that came off my floors - but delighted that this little machine was so thorough. Easy to assemble (two clicks and you're done), easy to use (only need water - no chemicals), and almost instant steam. Highly recommeded.

I bought a well-known UK brand steam mop some years ago and we did not become friends. In fact I hated it as I had to keep waiting (or pumping) for steam to be produced and cleaning would have taken forever if I hadn’t got rid of it ;-) A waste of money! My idea of a steam mop was to turn it on and it constantly produces hot steam without me losing the will to live. I came across this one and watched many YouTube videos as I had lost faith in steam cleaning. Not that I enjoy doing that but I wanted verification that it STEAMS, STEAMS, STEAMS! Well, if you are in doubt to invest in another household gadget that might not work: This one is absolutely fantastic!! - Ready in no time (as described less than a minute) - If turned off to change pads or so it is ready again in seconds - So powerful: constantly steams without the need to pump or do anything - Its 3 settings are well calibrated: * For my shiny porcelain tiles I use low or medium in order to avoid watermarks * For wood grain effect tiles I use medium * For wooden floors use 'low' (make sure to use a new dry pad that is not soaking) and it works a treat - It is very light and the cable is really long (though I put extensions cable on) - Sufficient tank size and easy to refill - Extra pads are quite expensive but worth it My summary: This unit is a real work horse. I am able to clean 120smq + of differently tiled and wood floors in no time. No sweating, no swearing - I am over the moon. The triangular version is sufficient and really good to get into the corners. I got an extra set of the original pads, a cheap string sport bag for all pads, refill container and carpet unit. When cleaning I grab the 'steam- mop-miracle' in one hand, extension cable over the shoulder with the pad bag and off I go ;-) Cleaning has never been so easy. A little attachment for narrow areas would be great. Busy countryside home with dog and garden right at the front door step and this unit ticks all boxes for me: squeaking clean in no time and without heavy equipment or hard work :-) And, not to forget the price is a fraction of some brands; it has no useless frills /bits so that I am hopeful that it will do great work for me for a long time.

So easy to use , put together and brilliant results . Much better than wet mops or using chemical wipes that are so bad for the environment . Super quick to heat and use. I have wooden floors and have come up brilliantly with no problems.

It’s very good and easy to use but difficult to get rid of any water that is left in the tank. I always thought my house was very clean but using this steamer made me realise the hidden dirt. I was able to clean my rugs too. Great value for money.

Great Steamer! Heats up very fast, great length lead and also liked the fact that it did not come with loads of random plastic attachments that you would never use like other steamers and end up in land fill. Also came with 2 reusable pads that can be washed, so also great for the environment! I did a lot of research before buying a steamer and would highly recommend this one.

I needed a reliable and powerful floor steamer to use on regular cleaning of stone floors as well as managing pet smells from carpet. This Vileda steamer does the job excellently. I trust the name and the build quality is high The head is bigger than other steamers so it cleans floors much more qu. Due to the shape and the Velcro like underneath, I am able to use cloths from my previous steamer too - they are both triangle in shape. A really nice surprise is how quickly the unit heats up to usable steam - About 10-15 seconds. At this great price, I’m happy if I get a solid year of use out of it. It is used every day.

Great bit of kit - makes a good job of the kitchen floor. Feels a little bit flimsy, so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to regular domestic use. It is just a basic floor steamer with no accessories (which is exactly what I wanted!)
