990 PRO 1TB PCIe 4.0 (up to 7450 MB/s) NVMe M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V9P1T0BW)

I recently upgraded my main storage drive, moving from a 5-year-old M.2 SSD to this Samsung 990 PRO, and the performance difference is incredible - it's easily the single most impactful storage upgrade you can make right now. This drive is built for speed. With sequential read speeds up to 7,450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6,900 MB/s, it maxes out the PCIe 4.0 interface. This massive jump in bandwidth translates directly into real-world benefits: Gaming: Load times in all my favourite games are now virtually instant. Video Editing/Productivity: Moving and rendering large files is ridiculously fast, which makes a huge difference in workflow speed. System Responsiveness: My entire operating system feels snappier and boots in seconds. The physical installation was very easy - it's a compact M.2 2280 form factor that slotted right into my new motherboard. It’s perfect for those looking for a clean, minimal build, as there are no extra cables required. For those serious about gaming, video editing, or any intense workload, this SSD is a must-buy. It's priced competitively for a premium component, and the performance you get is absolutely worth it. It truly is a game-changer and the best storage upgrade available on the market today.

I recently upgraded my main PC to the Samsung 990 PRO, and honestly, the difference is night and day. I was using an older NVMe drive, so I knew I'd see a speed bump, but I wasn't prepared for just how much faster everything would feel. I got the 2 TB version because I'm tired of juggling games between different drives. The install was straightforward, and once my system was up and running, the first thing I noticed was the boot time. It went from "a few seconds" to "blink and you'll miss it." My most frequently played games, like Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield, load their massive worlds in a fraction of the time they used to. The advertised speeds of 7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write might just be numbers on a box, but in my experience, they translate to a genuinely smoother and more responsive system. Beyond gaming, I do a lot of video editing, and this is where the 990 PRO really shines. Moving large 4K video files around used to be a little chore, but now it's practically instant. Rendering times have also seen a noticeable improvement, cutting down on my workflow bottlenecks. Yes, it's a premium product with a price tag to match, but for someone like me who values speed and doesn't want to compromise on storage, it was an investment I'd happily make again. The peace of mind from Samsung's reputation for reliability is a nice bonus, too. If you have a PC with a free PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot and are looking for a serious performance boost for anything from gaming to content creation, I can't recommend the Samsung 990 PRO enough. It's truly a top-tier drive.

Quality: Samsung has delivered a high-quality product once again. The 990 Pro feels sturdy and well-built, and the thermal solution is impressive, keeping temperatures low even under heavy usage. It's clear this SSD is built to last, offering long-term reliability. Performance: The speed is mind-blowing! With read speeds up to 7450 MB/s, the performance is leagues ahead of my previous drive. I’m noticing lightning-fast boot times, ultra-responsive gaming, and seamless file transfers. Whether it's for high-end gaming or video editing, this SSD handles everything effortlessly. It has truly elevated my overall PC experience Ease of installation: Installation was a breeze. It slid right into the M.2 slot and was ready to go in seconds. I got the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD to upgrade my laptop, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance boost. Installation was easy, and my system recognised it immediately. If you’re upgrading from an HDD or an older SSD, you’ll notice a huge difference in speed. Boot times are almost instant, apps load much faster, and file transfers are really quick. I mainly use my laptop for gaming and work, and this SSD has made everything much smoother and more responsive. The PCIe 4.0 speeds really stand out, and Samsung’s Magician software makes it easy to monitor and optimise performance. One thing to note is that it can run a little warm, so if your laptop doesn’t have great cooling, keep an eye on temperatures. It’s also on the pricey side, but considering the speed, reliability, and storage capacity, I think it’s worth it. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-speed, high-capacity SSD upgrade, the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro is an excellent choice

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD (2TB) is an absolute beast of a drive. I’m using it as my main system and games drive, and everything loads almost instantly — Windows boots in seconds, and large games or video projects open without delay. Speeds are exactly as advertised, hitting around 7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write, which makes it perfect for gaming, video editing, and heavy multitasking. It stays cool thanks to Samsung’s efficient controller design, even under sustained loads. Installation was simple, and it was instantly recognised by the motherboard (Gigabyte Z790 AORUS PRO X). The Samsung Magician software is also a nice touch for firmware updates and performance monitoring. Overall, it’s an incredibly fast, reliable, and high-quality SSD that delivers premium performance. A great investment for any high-end PC build.

Absolutely amazing NVMe M.2 drive. Not too sure on the technical side of things (as I don't have software to check for good/bad sectors etc. At the moment (for 4/5 months) it runs well and seemingly didn't fail on me. It came in good condition and is a great option for storage in any use (studio, gaming, file storage, etc) and much easier to install than say a Hard disk drive or a SATA SSD. However. The price now skyrocketed for some reason? Not sure if its due to RAM or AI, but the price now is kind of silly. 1TB for what near 180? Too much for 1 drive. Should be at least 100 tops (imo). Worth buying if on a sale. Regardless great product.

I’ve been using the Samsung 990 PRO 2TB, and these drives are simply perfect. They deliver top-tier speed and reliability. Since I know these "beasts" run quite hot, I made sure to equip them with a solid heatsink from the start to ensure optimal thermal management and longevity. The units I received already had the latest firmware installed, so everything has been running perfectly right out of the box. Highly recommended if you want the best performance for your build.

Great SSD but more importantly, the Samsung transfer software "Samsung Magician" is brilliant. Runs under windows and does a complete clone of your existing drive for a simple swap over and it works! I would buy Samsung drives again, just for this software.

Ürün tek kelime ile mükemmel. Hızını sonuna kadar alıyor ve bilgisayarı uçurdu resmen. Asus Tuf gaming A15 7735HS RTX 4050 Laptop adeta canavara dönüştü. Herkese şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum.

Recently SSD price increased much as crazy, but this one increased slightly less than other products. That's the reason I purchase it. Unfortunately, its Write speed at 6650MBps and Read speed about 6800MBps on my PC which are lower than expected.

Its absolutely amazing. Learned to open my gaming laptop and able put this beast smoothly. ChatGPT recommended this product.
