Product doesn’t work. Tried to shock it to get chlorine going and still shows zero chlorine. It will go through one cycle then not turn back on. Would really like for product to work but seller is of no help. Tried contacting seller but no response. I am now one day past sending back.

I have this in an above-ground Fitmax IPool lap pool. My kids and I are extremely sensitive to chemicals and can't tolerate most pools. This device generates just enough chlorine to keep the water crystal clear, without creating any extra to cause irritation. I will sometimes hit the boost button to generate a little extra when we've spent a lot of time in the pool. Every once in a great while I add a package of saltwater boost chemicals. That's it. My kids have been in the pool all summer thanks to this little gem.

I had high hopes for this. Unfortunately the CD model I purchased didn’t work. It wouldn’t generate chlorine even when levels reached 0 for extended periods of time. I contacted support and they said this was a known issue and a software update would fix it. The problem is I had to send it in to them for that software update. Now I can’t get anyone from the company to respond to me about when I’ll get my chlorinate back. They have gone dark and I’m not confident I’ll ever get my chlorinate back. I would recommend going with one of the alternative options over the megachlor cd

Product was defective/broken when received. Never worked

Comes on and adjusts like the manual states, you see bubbles leaving the generator when it claims to be running, so far so good. I have the large Megachlor-CD for my 1500gal hot tub and it will not keep chlorine in the tub. I do not have a cover and live in South Texas, however, at my previous house I had an uncovered 20,000 pool with a salt water gen (another brand) and it worked great. Plenty of chlorine and once I had it dialed in it stayed stable. This unit is for a 15,000 pool and yet cranked all the way up it won't keep chlorine in a body of water 1/10 it's rated size. Salt is about 3000 and other chems are there. Better to spend twice as much for a unit that delivers.
