Antler Farms New Zealand Collagen Powder - Grass Fed, Unflavored, 1 lb

Most of wish we looked 20 years old again, right?. Although nothing can turn back the clock, there are things we can all do to maintain a youthful appearance. My beauty regimen is a three pronged approach - internal, external and sun avoidance/protection. More specifically, taking the right dietary supplements that support healthy skin (while avoiding toxic "foods"), using high quality topical skin products, and common sense practices - like staying out of the sun (my face hasn't seen the sun in 15 years, and I use tinted sunblock as make-up base!). These habits keep my face and body looking far more youthful than my years. Although I am 43, I still get carded (to my delight). This collagen has become the most important part of my internal beauty regimen! (besides drinking tons lots of water). Most people know that collagen is proven to work for skin elasticity, hydration, and smoothness. Antler Farms collagen is very absorbable and IT DOES JUST THAT. It is so good you'll notice the difference right away. I actually lowered the amount of moisturizer I use, since my face feels dewy and hydrated already!... I recommend you work your way up on dosage to see what works best for you. I didn't need much to see changes. And only took a few days to notice. Moreover, it is CLEAN; it's sourced from grass fed cows that have not been treated with antibiotics or hormones. Don't take something for health and end up putting potentially dangerous chemicals back into your body! It might be a bit more expensive than other brand, but we are talking about mere cents per serving. It is so worth it. I believe that because it is so pure, that my body processed it so quickly. I use this product every day, either put it in my morning coffee, or blending it in my smoothie with other super food supplements (I love their Greens powder!). This powder dissolves very well with just by stirring with a spoon. If I'm in a rush I just put it in water. There is zero taste at all so it is very drinkable in this manner. I'm a big fan and I've recommending it to all my friends. Hopefully I will also continue being carded for decades to come :)

Collagen is making a comeback of sorts. In the 1980s and 1990s, it was marketed strictly as a beauty supplement for improving skin, hair, and nails. As a man, I had never thought to take collagen because, frankly, I don't spend much time thinking about how to maintain a youthful appearance beyond staying physically fit and active. But with the rise of bone broth and its purported benefits, I began looking for a collagen supplement to help me with my joint issues. I run marathons, participate in MMA, and weightlight. Having joint pain and inflammation is just a fact of life from growing older and being mobile. But before I incorporated collagen into my daily routine, I wanted to do some research to make sure it actually worked. This is what I found. 90% of hydrolyzed collagen is absorbed within the first 12 hours of the intake. Futhermore, collagen is distributed in the human body, in particular the skin, where it has been proven to remain up to 14 days. Translation, you absorb a high percentage of collagen from digestion and it stays in your body. But what does it do in the body? Quite a lot. It is proven to be beneficial for skin health. It is proven to increase bone density. It is proven to reduce joint pain. Now this is important. These studies all used hydrolyzed collagen - also known as collagen hydrolysate or collagen peptides. Additionally, the daily dosages shown to produce the best results were 10-15g. Other collagen products, especially in capsule form, are grossly underdosed compared to the clinical studies' doses and don't contain pure collagen. Antler Farms Collagen Protein is 100% pure, hydrolyzed collagen with a 15g serving size and 30 servings per bottle. It is exceptional quality. It's cleanly sourced, meaning it comes from grass fed cows that have not been injected with hormones or treated with antibiotics. There are no additives, no sweeteners, no coloring, no fillers and no added flavors. It dissolves quickly, tastelessly, and is completely crystal clear in plain water. All and all, this collagen was an easy addition to my daily supplement routine. I simply add it to the protein and greens smoothie to make a healthy shake that is superfood for my joints.

The macros in this product gives almost as much as Vital Proteins in only 1 Tbsp instead of 4!!!! And it is odorless and tasteless in my coffee. What a find!!!

I love love this collagen powder. I have hashimotto and very senitive to any dairy, but this works really good for me. Yes it is expensive--but you get what you pay for---in my opinion. So I have tried other brands and this one works best for me.

Collagen is a major structural protein that is a vital component for forming tendons, connective tissue, ligaments, muscle, and skin. I had a cracked rib from training in BJJ before and used collagen to help me recover. Now I take collagen on a daily basis because I realized how important it is as a supplement. My hair and nails have been growing faster after taking this supplement for about a month. I am logically concluding that the rest of the connective tissues in my body are reaping the same benefits. I tried a couple of brands of collagen and liked this brand's mix-ability the most - little to no clumping when using a protein shaker bottle. Once you find the scoop, I recommend taking it out and keeping it out to prevent the collagen protein from going bad due to moisture. This collagen is perfect for making a swole bowl too! 1 cup of yogurt Antler Farms - Organic Greens Superfood Powder Antler Farms - Collagen Protein Powder 1 scoop of collagen protein powder 1 scoop of protein powder 1/8 cup of walnuts or pecans 12 cup of almonds 1 banana or 1/4 cup of fresh berries You're welcome! I’ve been adding the collagen into my coffee for at least a year now. I started using it for the added protein. I love that it’s grass fed & no fillers. It mixes into my coffee easily & has no taste. The serving size is 1 tablespoon/15g to get the 15 grams of protein. I recently started weighing my food to make sure that I was getting the right amounts of protein. I started weighing my collagen and to my surprise to get the 15 g it actually took two full tablespoons. Which would explain why my bag lasted me so long. So just a heads up to those who want a full serving make sure to weigh. Otherwise I love this product and looking forward to now seeing if there is even more improvement with my joints & skin.

I have used this product for two years and hope they never stop making it! Great vanilla flavor to mix with coconut milk and fruit in my smoothies. The best way to get good, clean protein without eating a steak and feeling full. I feel so good when I use this protein! It is the best ever!

I am a female in my late 50's and I have used several different collagen products as I work to keep my body and mind healthy. By far, this is my favorite. It dissolves easily, has zero taste and I love the packing without any plastic. I highly recommend this product.
