By far the best of the three I have tried so far.
I use this primarily to keep the sun off me during golf, and second for rain during golf. This is my third golf umbrella. The first was black; it helped a bit, but I never realized how little until it developed water leaks in its old age. The second was a silver Sun Mountain umbrella; the reflective coating kept me considerably cooler. But it broke in less than a year. This umbrella seems less breakable; it's also bigger in diameter, which gives noticeably more sun and rain protection. I used all three in the umbrella stand of my ClicGear 3-wheel cart. This one seems to seat more securely in the holder, but that's an impression with little evidence to back it up. My major concern is the umbrella's value as a sail. In a strong wind, the extra size and the flatter shape of this umbrella catches the wind and might overpower the cart. Hasn't happened to mine -- yet -- but I have powered wheels with provide a much more stable base than a stock ClicGear cart. I have watched the carts of two friends who also have this same umbrella get capsized in a gust. This seems to be a necessary evil of the additional size that makes this umbrella more effective in sun and rain. BTW, it still doesn't beat staying in the shade of trees, if keeping cool is the objective. But it is better -- a lot better -- than being in the sun without it, and substantially better than other golf umbrella I have used.

HUGE!
This thing is huge. You want to cover you and a friend, this will do it. Want to make sure all your golf clubs are covered, this will do it. Seems to be quite sturdy material as well. My only concern is holding up in the wind. It might be too big and want to take you away to the land of OZ.

(I still...) Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Originally written in 2021, I want to add an update because it is still in as good condition now as it was then. Admittedly it doesn't get a huge amount of use, living in England, but when it does, it has to cope with me sitting in a garden high up above the beach, facing the sea with the brolly behind me. When the wind comes in off the sea it can reach almost gale force on occasions, but and as long as I sit on the chair it puts up with all that comes at it. I do have a massive galvanised steel clamp to hold it to my equally tough chair, but in high wind it needs it. If I were to get up, the brolly, clamp and chair would fly over the bungalow roof behind me – in fact, if I left an average 3-4 yr old in it the wind would take the brolly, clamp, chair and child* too! It has never turn inside out, the spokes are still all in place (I had to put a couple of stitches on one of the ends holding the fabric to the spoke, but that is hardly a problem as it hadn't crack, the stitching one one came loose). It really was a good find. * I wouldn't ever do that of course, even if I had a child to leave there. Original review: I have a serious sun allergy and bought this for a recent holiday – I’m 5’8” and was entirely covered by the shade from this huge brolly. I used an old metal clamp and clamped it onto my sun lounger and despite a significant wind coming onto the garden it stayed up, didn’t bend, snap or tear and provided full body shade (and I’m certainly not anyone’s definition of slim). I found that there was a significantly lower temperature when under its protection and I will not go out in the sun without it now.
