The item worked as advertised and was very secure! I tried to use it on my oven doors because my baby kept trying to pull to stand on them. I didn’t have much room so tried to install a little more sideways/vertical than perfectly horizontal as recommended and the latch system still worked very well. Easy install too! I was super excited to use them. Unfortunately, I just didn’t realize that after installing them, I couldn’t get my cabinet drawers open beside the oven. No fault of the product, but because of how my kitchen is designed. The adhesive on the backs stuck really well! They were difficult to remove (which is a good thing! You want good adhesive) but once removed they didn’t leave any hard to remove residue on my oven which I was super grateful for! Can’t speak to how they would’ve stood up to the heat bc I had to remove them before I could test. Also removed them before I could take a picture of them installed, but picture so you can see that I wouldn’t be able to open my drawers bc the hardware was in the way. I really wish this product could’ve worked for me! I also was pleasantly surprised to find 5 of them in the package! Guess I missed that somewhere lol. So good value for the money! And they looked ok on my stainless steel! I was worried they would look tacky/cheap, but they really didn’t. The silver blended in fine

Very easy to install. These can be opened and closed with one hand, allowing you to hold the item to go in the fridge with the other. When unlocked, you can open the door using the locking post-keeping your door smear free. Also using them helps me be sure to close the door securely, and not worry about something shifting and knocking the door open.

these are perfect and so easy to use my fridge was giving me problem to close due to the rubber coming off a lil bit i installed it and it closed my fridge so perfectly love it

These are better then any safty devices we have ever used. They even work better on cabinets then the safety latches. I highly recommend these for many safety keeping toddlers out. The latches pinch there fingers. We will be recommending these to others and buying more

These things are a miracle! I have a 1 year old (almost 2) who loves nothing more than to get in the fridge. He’s not a happy camper but this momma is! Great for the fridge. Haven’t tried it on wood or any other surface but I just might. I love that it is a whole pack and the price is great and affordable! Easy to install, easy to use, great size and fit. Auto-locking works like a charm.

We purchased these to keep our French Door LG refrigerator from opening while we are traveling. One on the top of each door and one on each side at the top of the bottom freezer door. Cheap alternative to the more expensive options and these don’t require drilling any holes.

Kids had a VERY bad habit of letting the outside fridge door pop open. Which resulted in it defrosting over and over. Hubs and I were done. After the last round of defrosting and full cleanup we resorted to this locking mechanism. It was easy to put on, it has stayed in place without any issue, it fit the space well, was inexpensive and easy enough for all my kids to use. Would buy over and over.
