Really liked this book.
I've always thought Hugh Hefner and Playboy treated women badly (Hefner's sex habits were so gross). But I loveHolly. She's smart, honest and humble. Bless her for telling the truth about her life and about Playboy. What asurvivor!

Not as good as 'Down the Rabbit Hole'
Let me preface this by saying that I loved her previous memoir, 'Down the Rabbit Hole'. I absolutely devoured that book and read it in the space of a day. This book, however, was difficult to read. The narrative often jumped from one time period to another, making it very difficult to follow. It felt less like a memoir and more like fiction. I understand that names and events may not be included or changed for legal reasons, but when I choose to read a 'memoir', I would expect that it read as such and whole conversations not be included merely for the sake of narrative.Saying that, if you are a fan of Holly and enjoyed watching 'Holly's World', you would likely get something out of this book. There are some interesting tidbits peppered throughout the story that make it worthwhile reading. I love Holly, but this book was just not as juicy as I expected.

Followup to girls next door
A good book about how holly moved on from the girls next door to find peace with herself while reinventing her life.

Holly has done it again- great book
Holly Madison. You've done it again. I first became a fan of Holly on the girls next door. I could tell she was a nerd and just trying to find where she fit in. When she came out with her first book I devoured it. A truthful look at the Playboy empire. And a fascinating perspective on the female psych of what is perceived to be "the dream life." Holly- I remember messaging you on Instagram expressing my respect for your honesty and building the courage to find your truth and you responded. <3 Another book that tells the truth of what so many of us see as the perfect Vegas dream life fantasy. She's a normal girl who wants to best for herself and isn't shy about admitting her real life story and struggles.

It could have been much better
I consider myself to be a huge fan of Holly and have read Down the Rabbit Hole several times. However, this book is difficult to read as she will go into tangents or flashbacks in the middle of another story that she is already telling. She also will insert a paragraph of Vegas history into a place that doesn't make any sense. This book could have been edited better to make for a less awkward read.I also did not care for her replacing names when we clearly knew who she was talking about (re-naming Jack to Mark). If you saw Holly's World, it was very obvious that she was talking about him. This just seemed like an insult to the intelligence of her fans.Last, I hope this is the last book where she discusses Playboy. It seems like she has much more to offer the world than the repetitive recaps of that time period. I would love to hear more about what she is up to now. Holly is so creative and quirky, I know she has better stories to tell. If you are a fan, obviously go for it and form your own opinion of this book. If you are not a Holly fan, save your money.

Good read. I like the book.
Holly Madison's books are written with good style and organization. When watching the "Girls Next Door" I suspected already that Holly is much smarter then the rest of the girls. I mean she and Bridget. The Vegas Diaries is the continuation of the "Down to the Rabit Hole". They are both a pleasure to read or listen to. Holly is reading both in the audio versions. She does have a great diction. The Vegas Diaries book describes her effort to recover from abusive relationsip living in the Mansion. Good style, well organized chapters, perfect for self help for any girl or a woman, going through the breakup. Obviously needs to be addapted to realistic circumstances if one is not an actres in the show business.

Awesome read
This book was awesome! Just as good as the first one but better! I love how she words things and tells the story. Holly will keep you glued to the book from page 1. This book is how she managed to escape the horrible lifestyle of the Playboy mansion and into this amazing life she made for herself. It was a journey that she made you feel you had taken with her. I only wish that she would have gone into how she met her husband and how she found out she was pregnant. I NEED more info! I love reading her books.
