Thank you.** A: Simple answer is no, the heated elements of the mattress protector heat the area you tend to sleep on, shoulder to foot. Definitely not under the pillows and not right to the edges. The first been relaiable and worked perfectly for years now. The control has both a time and level of heat setting. The setting defaluts to one hour which is ideal for safety and electicity consumption. The quick warm up facility warms the bed sufficiently after only 5 mins before switching off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 February 2024* We've had a heated mattress sheet for many years - this is probably now our 3rd or 4th one. I always look for a fitted sheet so that it attaches firmly to the mattress, and this one does just that. I like the different settings it has, although we generally pop it on full blast when we're getting ready for bed and it's so powerful that by the time we're in bed 10 mins later it's heated enough that we can turn it off for the night. So it's very cheap to run. I really don't see the need to have it on all night even on a low setting. It's comfortable to lie on and the attachments are to the side of the mattress so you don't lie on them. Some have different zones but I don't see the need for that personally.
