## Description

The Model 79 Slimline Open-Top Double Magazine Pouch is designed to carry two magazines vertically on a 2.25" (58mm) duty belt. The magazines are oriented face out to save space on the belt. It's constructed of rugged SafariLaminate and is available in several scuff-resistant finishes with four different closures.

Review: Great buy - I am very happy with this mag holder. First off, it's Safariland so you know its good quality but the best part is how much smaller it is that my previous mag holders, it really helps to free up space on my belt. The position of the magazines is great too, easy to grab and reload. Mags stay secure with enough tension that I am not worried about them falling out accidentally while at the same time easy enough to draw smoothly for reloads. Can't beat the price on desertcart either, great value.

**Q: Is this the stx hard plastic or the fake leather? and if it is the hard plastic what finish? plain, tactical, gloss?**
A: It's the STX hard plastic. I'm not positive on the finish. I think it's either plain or tactical (definitely not the gloss). Sorry to not be sure on the finish.

**Q: Will this fit a sig sauer p226 mk25 magazine?**
A: I think this is too big. Look for a size 4 magazine pouch. This one is size 5.

**Q: will this fit beretta mags?**
A: yes I have one with open top you can adjust the mag holder to fit the mags I have a Beretta M9 9mm I have one also that hold 3 mags and straps them in!securely.

I am very happy with this mag holder. First off, it's Safariland so you know its good quality but the best part is how much smaller it is that my previous mag holders, it really helps to free up space on my belt. The position of the magazines is great too, easy to grab and reload. Mags stay secure with enough tension that I am not worried about them falling out accidentally while at the same time easy enough to draw smoothly for reloads. Can't beat the price on amazon either, great value.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safest mag carrier so far.

I've used plenty of mag carriers during my military/law enforcement career and having fast access to your ammunition can be key to survival. I recently switched to a nylon setup for patrol since it's lighter and allowed on the pd. However I was shocked to find out that the nylon mag carrier had a dangerously huge flaw, the glock magazine would catch on the stitching at the top of the magazine carrier during deployment. Seeing as the gen 4 magazines are set up for ambidextrous use, it not only caught on one side but both. In my opinion this is an extremely huge drawback if you enjoy living and staying in the fight, so long story short this mag carrier is not only higher quality but I would trust this one with my life. It will never collapse, magazines will absolutely never hang during deployments, its tension is adjustable, the orientation of the magazine is perfect for the finger to bullet tip mag change and the near 3 inches I save on my duty belt is priceless. I'm typically a very uniform individual but when my life depends on the specifics, I'll run the stx finish on my nylon setup all day long.
