Amazing!

This light is everything! The quality of light is great. The wrap around light is incredible. No way you can be disappointed with this light.

Missing speed ring- there is no way for me to use it and no one in a 100 miles radius sells just the speed ring. Will be returning.

The light I got from this octabox was absolutely amazing and would love to buy another one if I ever have a studio. This light is definitely not for the photographer on the go and won't take much abuse before it starts to break down. I had mine for about a year and a few dozen shoots before it became unusable. The rips pocked through the fabric and the fabric itself tore at the base. If you're looking for something for field work, look somewhere else. If you're using it in studio were you can baby it, you are going to love this light.

The only collapsible light modifiers I've had before have been umbrellas and square soft boxes, and this sort of combines the best bits of both. Once you've got the speed ring attached (and goodness knows why they don't sell them together) the whole thing collapses down into a convenient carrying bag (supplied) or opens out relatively easily; it has twice the number of support arms as a square soft box, but takes much less time to put up. I considered getting an even bigger size, but I'm glad I didn't as leaning in to the centre to get the rods clicked in would be stupidly difficult.
