Umm - Fipronil was banned for agricultural use in the EU and UK in 2013 because of concerns about its persistence in the environment, killing insects far beyond and for long after its original application. The only licensed products that contain Fipronil in the UK are veterinary pet treatments for fleas and ticks (and tbh even those are, from an environmental point of view, problematic). Although it looks as if this product has been imported legally from the US (hence its high price), whether it is legal to use this in a garden setting in the UK is arguable, and because of the agricultural ban the broad labelling "for outdoor use" is not accurate for anyone buying within the EU and UK.

This stuff seems to be great. every year i fight the good battle. me vs them. I usually lose and resort to Lowes runs to put up the best fight I can. Then I used this stuff. It isn't an "insta-kill" but it gets on them and they take it back home. I sprayed it where I normally see them trail to my house and so far I haven't seen any. I guess they forage and take it back, destroys them all and they never make it to my house. NICE. Because the small ants are gone I have seen some bigger ones but it is usually only one, it acts weird, and then nothing, This stuff works so well I bought another one to spray my mother in laws perimeter. If I every get the feeling something is sneaking up on my property I do also spread Amdro ... the pellets as an added bonus. This is the first year I feel like I've won. It isn't a once and done.
