Wonderful Radar Detector!
I love this radar detector. I'm coming from an Escort 9500IX, which was about 10 years old and gave me false alerts all the time since more and more cars now use radar for alerts, alarms, and self-driving. So I wanted something that was updated, gave me lots of options, and was easy to use. The Escort MAX 360c MKII Laser Radar Detector fits that description perfectly. So far nearly every time it's alerted me to active radar, I've seen law enforcement nearby. I'm sure there are sometimes when they're just very well hidden and I don't see them, but I haven't had a single obvious false alert yet. It used to be the case that I'd know if I was close to a Honda or Acura, but I don't have to worry about that any longer. No more false alerts, and I can be confident that it's picking up legitimate signals. I also like a lot of the different user options. I won't go into all of them here, but it's very robust in the amount of options you have in terms of detectable signals, when to alert you to overspeeding or other alerts, and display options. I do which I could remove the mph and speed limit readings, but to remove those it then gives you a voltage reading, which I care about even less than those. So there are a ton of options. I specifically got the WiFi option for easy updating, but updating seems to take over an hour over WiFi. So I would recommend updating this device using your PC since it'll only take a few minutes or so. I don't use the Drive Smarter app. To be honest, I find it an annoyingly subpar verison of Waze, which, in my opinion, is inferior to what Google Maps has become and Apple Maps hopes to be. I would much prefer if there was some way to integrate the reporting functionality of this app with Google Maps or another mapping app, as I just prefer the display options those apps have over Drive Smarter. But that's just personal preference. I want to make one other note, too: this radar detector is pretty hefty in terms of size. It's not overly huge, but it's way bigger than my 9500IX was. But what was really nice about this radar detector is the aesthetic. The display has several color options, and I really like the blue. The outer case of this one is a black/grey that fits in nicely with my interior, so that's nice, too.

Performance worth the price
Excellent performance. Customization is easy through the app or it can be done with the buttons. Detects and locates well, displaying multiple signals if present. After several months it has saved me a few times from those hiding out of sight. Volume is good when you need it to be loud. Definitely worth the price.

Drive Smarter Android app is buggy and absolutely a battery killer
I bought this product about a week ago, and having been off all week, I really haven't had an opportunity to see how it does on the road. That'll change on Tues 1.3.23. My biggest issue with it so far is how bad Drive Smarter is on Android. I had it connected to the device but was having issues, so I deleted it with the intent of re-adding. Now, while the app sees the MKII, it cannot connect. It's about a foot away. Also, a USB mini port? Hello, 1997 called and they want their connector back. For $700, this should be USB-C on a new product. The more I write, the more I want to reduce my score. This thing is half-baked. I can only hope they make improvements on the app. For starters, it needs an exit button, to keep it from killing the battery as it is an absolute hog. I know I can go into Settings\Apps\Drive Smarter and force stop, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Performance Max 360c
Amazing Device. Note: The map should be worldwide and with more accurate data. Features are excellent. The warnings are accurate with the K filters.

Improved Radar Filtering for false alerting.
I have an older MAX 360 and moved it into my Tesla Model X and it would randomly just go into Radar warning beeping and I would just have to just unplug it. I think it was because of the Radar coming from the Tesla's lane avoidance system causing a false alert. Bought this new MAX 360C MKII and problem went away. I moved my old Escort Max into an older car and its working just fine. The new 360C MKII has better filtering. Was a good upgrade.

0 stars. Did not work at all for me.
I have a old original Passport Max that has worked great for years, but the gps no longer works, the screen is very dim, and the mount squeaks terrible. I thought I would replace it with a new detector. I chose the 360c mkii, and used it for nearly a month. I can't count how many times I passed a sheriff or state patrol in the median, and there was not a sound from my detector. Sometimes it would alert after I passed the patrol car, or not at all. It sure alerted me to every grocery store door and everything else that was not important. I was annoyed after my last long drive, and put up my old passport max, and ran them at the same time. On my next two hour drive, my old max alerted me to 13 KA signals, 10 of which I was able to find the patrol car. The new 360c mkii did not give me one KA alert. The old one picked up a few of the cars miles ahead of me. I have updated the firmware and database, but it seems this radar detector is almost incapable of detecting the Genesis 2 radar guns that most everyone in CO seems to have. Maybe mine was bad, but the Vortex review of this detector shows it not alerting as well. I guess I am going to try a Uniden.

Really awesome radar detector!
This thing is great! My old radar detector would pick up collision detection from other vehicles. That thing would make so much noise, it was very annoying. This thing is SO quiet! I often wonder if it's working. Well.. I drive my regular road, and started to pick up radar.. I'm on some curve, and there's no cop there... hmm maybe it messed up. But NO! I round the turn, low and behold, cop right there. This thing picked up radar around a turn over a hill!! It's super quiet, and very accurate! Great purchase!!!
