Review: We call this JIT "Jesus in a Tube" - A few years ago my now 19 yr old cat Squeaky stopped eating and hid under the bed. After a few days the vet kept her overnight on an IV, ran tests and unable to find anything wrong with her explained that when cats get ready to die they stop eating and hide. He wanted to keep her another night but I felt so helpless and desperate I took her home instead trying different things to get her to eat. That Sunday I power walked around the track at the gym for an hour praying so hard in between crying and when I left I stopped at a local pet store and found this product. It was high in nutrition and I knew she needed the taurine and calories soon or she would get a liver disease. I didn't think she would eat it but as soon as I got home, I squeezed some out and she lapped it up straight from the tube. A half hour later she was in the kitchen eating a can of cat food. A few years have passed and although she has since gone deaf, she cries out for her JIT several times per day. She walks to the bedroom, cries out "NOW! NOW" over and over and waits for me to lift her up to her spot where she laps up as much of it as she wants. She did go through a spell for about 2 or 3 weeks a couple of years ago where she wouldn't eat it and we could see all the bones in her body. I feared God was ready to call her up to be Jesus' pillow cat. After a few weeks she decided she wanted it again. I truly believe this product sustains her and keeps her alive. Although she spends most of her time on a heating pad, she still likes to play on occasion and is fairly healthy. My youngest 2 yr old likes to clean up the tube after her and my 4 yr old likes it. If you are considering this product, I would start with one tube if you haven't tried it yet. Not all cats like it. We've tried to trick our 16 yr old into it and can't get him to eat it. He can't weigh more than 5 lbs dripping wet and needs it badly. He has a hearty appetite for food but can't gain weight, is always freezing and could really benefit from it. He also has been tested for everything with the vets and is otherwise healthy. So not all cats will like it unfortunately. It also makes a difference how you store the tube. We buy 10 at a time and keep them laying down flat until a tube is over half empty. At that time we stand it up to get the product to the opening. We find if we stand it up full, it doesn't mix properly or something and Squeaky won't eat it. 3 of our 5 cats like it though and it's worth a shot if you need vitamins, nutrition and calories for your cat.
Review: It Works - I have a Bengal with IBS. She’s struggled with it for years, and although she is on a strict diet - she still has occasional flare ups. The last flare up was very scary. She wasn’t absorbing nutrients and only ate a few morsels at a time. She looked anorexic. Steroids help, but we can’t keep her on them permanently. We found this dietary supplement and thought we’d try it. We started using it about 4-5 months ago. She doesn’t love the taste, but she doesn’t spit it out when I put a big blob on my finger and rub it on the roof of her mouth. The difference in her is astonishing. **Q: my 15 yr old cat doesnt have many teeth and the consistency seems to be hard for him to get down. can i mix it with water or something?**
A: I have a 16 year old female cat with mouth sores, so she has trouble even eating soft cat food. I mix a supplement like this with Gerbers meat (usually chicken or turkey, sometimes ham or beef) pureed babyfood, along with the "gravy" strained from Friskies canned food, like their mixed grill, to add feline diet essentials like taurine, and add chicken broth topper or bone broth, resulting in essentially a liquid diet. She has been doing well on this for over a year now. I was using "Miracle Vet" for a supplement, for over a year, but they recently changed something and she throws up if I add that, so I will be looking to add this as a replacement, since I have used this in the past as a supplement for another elderly cat.

**Q: Can someone please share the ingredient list for this? Not sure why there is no photo of the back of the tube on Amazon. :/**

**Q: Why does it state on back under nutritional information. "Supplement for use in dogs" is this an error?**
A: No this is not an error, but IS misleading by this company.  The reason for this is that originally this product said "for Dogs and Cats".  They found that a lot of people would NOT give it to their dogs because it had "Cats" on it and dogs should NOT eat cat food regularly (but it was MADE for both dogs and cats).  And some people would not give it to their cats because it had dogs on it.  If you check the label??????  It is EXACTLY the same for either dogs or cats, ingredient wise.  I buy either one and give it to both my dog, and my 2 cats.  Not a real problem, just a marketing thing!!!  And if it makes you feel better (emotionally) get the one for dogs (because cats can have dog stuff) and give it to your cat! I understand your confusion because I researched this in depth and spoke to my vet about it as well.

**Q: Can you mix it in with wet food?**
A: Yes.  After my cat stopped licking it from the tube, I did mix it with her wet food, and that worked well.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cat loves this tasty formula

I was really worried about giving this to my elderly cat who is not eating because I've seen some owners say that their cat refused to eat it. I've been desperately trying to find something she'll eat and pick back up her appetite and I can thankfully say she has been accepting it so well. She will only eat it off a finger though, she will not eat it off a plate or the tube. She likes it so much that I have to cut her off because she's a wee little kitty and I'm afraid of overfeeding her it. She is very slowly picking at her food again and I have been faithfully feeding her it, without any problem. She also seems to be more alert after feeding her it, which I am pleasantly surprised at. The only complaint and disappointment I have is, I wish the adult formula had taurine in it because it's supposed to supplement your cat's diet when they aren't eating. Without it, I feel it's a bit misleading. To all the cat moms and dads out there that are in a similar position, I'd recommend giving this a try.
