These are on first view, really good quality , i go wild fishing in Scotland , ive worn the same pair of Bear Gryils Craghopper trousers for over 18 years Great Trousers & still going !! , so far without acutally trying them out these really seem top quality , ive been wearing these about the house tonight no complaints for comfort all , id happily sleep with them on , Their not cold weather trousers but nothing a pair of long johns cant handle,,, However they are quite tight , so someone with a hill walker or cyclist leg i don't know if they would be suitable , ive got chichen legs so they suit me great . But still 10/10 for me .

Very impressed with the build quality. All seams double stitched and even triple stitched in the important areas. Material feels and looks durable with sturdy zips. They are very comfortable and allow free movement going up hill. Tested them on a windy day and they passed with flying colours, not tried them in the rain yet but they are certainly shower proof. Will need a base layer for proper cold Winter weather. One thing to be aware of, ignore Amazons size recommendation. If you are 5'11", 36W and a long leg go for XL not L that Amazon kept pushing.

These are really excellent trousers. Well made, very durable and comfortable. The waist, hip and posterior fit are all very good, allowing good mobility & flexibility. However, the thighs, calves and ankles are very tight if you're an athletic build. I have to leave the thigh-vent zip open to loosen the fit for comfort and the lower leg narrows too much towards the ankle, making it very difficult to draw up the ankle cuff to put socks on. The adjustable ankle cuffs should be a great feature, but even fully open, they just barely fit over the raised upper of a walking boot, leaving no room for adjustment. Otherwise, I highly recommended these, especially if you're a lighter build than myself. I chose medium. I'm 6'1" tall, 220 lbs, have 33" waist, 25" thigh, 17" calf.I've recently ordered a second pair; the original was a medium in orange and the newest, a medium in anthracite. The sizes vary quite a bit between the two - the anthracite being considerably smaller - suggesting manufacturing inconsistency perhaps? They're still my go-to trouser for most outdoor activities, but they narrowly miss a perfect score from me as I need just a little more room in the leg for comfort.

Pleased with trousers, nice quality if a little pricey.But I am 32 waist, ie size medium, and these (M) were too large and too long, so sadly returning.When the return clears I will reorder a smaller size. Plenty of return options offered.Packaging was flimsy transparent plastic bag.I live in hope.Update: Return and refund process was good.Reordered two pairs in size 'small', fit generally good (I always take medium), still a bit long in the leg (not unusual for me) I am about 5'9" (average height I think), but keeping these. I like them, they fit well, snug over hips and ass, not too snug in front, stretchy enough to allow all movement.Worn outdoors yesterday, a wet dog shook next to me and my legs instantly felt damp, so I might question the water repellent claim. But we'll see.I now have two pairs, I might buy more colours.

Well made. Will last ages

Great trousers for hiking / walking that work with the natural body movement, rather than against.it. I am 5'10" and these fitted me perfect. I am sure they will be durable and last well. The pockets are great and deep. I have worn them a few times now down to temperature near freezing and they feel warm enough. The quality of the seems stitching and zips all look as if they will last.I recently wore them up Snowdon in April, when it was about 9 degrees at the bottom in LLamberis. Taking a longer route heading out to join the Ranger trail, the vents came in handy, but were then closed back up near the summit where the wind chill was a killer. The trousers did their job marvellously and kept me warm at the summit.They are fashionable as other walking trousers, i.e I wouldn't wear them on a knight out, but fit in fine with the rambling crowds. A great pair of trouser that should last a long while.

I use these trousers for hill walking or trail running.They are lightweight and waterproof, they have got lots of pockets which are a good size to put your phone, keys inThey do seem to be very tough. I have run in them in heavy rain and I stayed completely dry + they dry out really quickly.They are expensive but are well worth it and I think they should last. If you do lots of walking or trail running they would be worth investing in

Fantastic trousers. I'm 5'11" 88kg with 34 inch waist and 32 inch leg and they fit really well.Only issue is the elastic bottom on the legs is so tight trying to get it over my boots is a struggle, I wish they hadn't designed it so tight and it had more room as when wearing walking boots they tend to ride up and sit on top of your boot. The trouser leg front hook that attaches to your laces is good, but careful when putting on as it catches your socks every time..!

Práctico Montañismo, Alpinismo y senderismo y la verdad es de mis prendas deportivas favoritas ya que es demasiado ligera, cómoda, seca rápido, es resistente y se nota estética.De echo compré una segunda prenda por que tenía un buen descuento.La recomiendo ampliamente por que supera por mucho a cualquiera del Decathlon.Tip. Si hay que fijarse muy bien en las medidas por qué hay muchas reseñas de gente quejándose por que no les quedó… y es qué hay que revisar la tabla oficial de medidas.

I am 5'11" and about 265. I ordered 3XL and they just barely fit around the butt. They are about 1.5 inches longer than I would prefer, but are at least 2in longer than they should be since I like pants longer than normal.That said, these are probably the best heavy duty pants I've ever owned for outdoors. They are actually super comfortable and make climbing up steps, rocks, etc. super easy. It's almost like there's no restriction on your knees. Actually couldn't believe I had "heavy" pants on. I've already got another pair in my shopping cart. Never going to wear jeans for cold weather hiking again!
