This tape is more expensive than others but depending on what you use it for it's definitely worth it. It's easy to tear, doesn't require a special water activation, can be used with standard tape guns, and most importantly, it holds and seals REALLY well. I've used this for laptops, graphics cards, 300 pound speakers, I've never had an issue with this tape busting, coming off , or undone like I have with cheaper stuff. If you are shipping mostly light or fragile stuff this tape may be overkill , but for expensive or fragile stuff where getting it there without it being damaged is worth more than the ~40 cents of tape you use , this stuff is the best. And pro tip - if you use a lot the 12 pack comes to only about $10 per roll, and sometimes it goes on sale for $100 or less, which puts each roll at only $8 bucks. Can't beat this tape for the quality , and for me anytime I ship anything fragile or expensive this is the only tape I will use.

This tape works great and holds really well. It’s thick, durable, and easy to use for sealing boxes and other packing needs. The quality is excellent, and it gives a secure hold without tearing easily. Definitely a dependable tape to keep on hand.

I tell everyone I know who will listen if they ever move or regularly tape up cardboard boxes that they need to spend the money and buy this tape. Sure, plastic tape is cheaper but it is NOT better. This stuff only sticks like mad to cardboard and brown paper and when it does it doesn't come off easily. It looks better and makes a package look clean and more secure than plastic tape and here's the best part...YOU DON'T NEED SCISSORS!!!! it rips by hand. I even use this stuff to reinforce brown paper gift bags so I can reuse them again and again before throwing them away. I use it to cover up old shipping labels on used boxes, it does that and looks good and is less noticeable. I sell small stained glass panels and I wrap them in brown craft paper like a gift and this is the tape I use, it makes it look professionally done. You can write on it with permanent marker too, let it sit for 20 seconds or it might smear just a little, it won't rub off. Have you ever had to box up all your crap for a move and you know how you have packing paper, bubble wrap, boxes and your stuff all over the place and you keep losing the scissors to cut your tape? no more, you don't need scissors and this stuff doesn't fold up on itself, it doesn't lose the edge and you spend 5 minutes with your fingernail trying to find it, that is so frustrating. It may seem like a lot of money, but you'll use less because it works so well and no one else will use this tape for other things so when you need it for a box there will always be some. And don't forget, you don't need scissors to tear it, you can just tape boxes without stopping. I'm cheap and this was the best value I could find on Amazon. 8/11/24 - update - the price has almost doubled since the last time I bought this tape 7 months ago. I'd still buy it, nothing else compares, but I will be more judicial and less liberal with it from now on.

I frequently craft with Tapes and had utilized painters tape in the past but needed something wider and this definitely does the trick , however it has a waxy finish rather than a matte finish but it adheres perfectly and it's stickiness is similar to duct tape . It's also easily tearable with the fingers just like masking tape would .

How much better can this Kraft paper tape be from any others? Please buy it and find out. I have never used any tape on my dispenser that matched this, plastic or paper. It’s like magic. They put a paper tab at the start so that you don’t have to go scraping at the roll to get it going, which is really nice, but what brought me to review it is how smoothly it. It also tears nicely from it, something that I had been blaming my 20-something-year-old dispenser for, but apparently I owe it an apology. I didn’t know that tape could even be that smooth. It appears to be sticking better than the Duck brand that I had been using between this kind and the last “professional” brand that I had (I don’t recall, it has been a while). If you are looking for Kraft paper tape, which I assume you are if you are reading this, you can stop your search and buy this one. I can’t imagine how any people at all had negative experiences with it; maybe they like to struggle?

I love this tape and use it almost every day. It's strong and is great for putting together cardboard boxes for moving, but it can be used for so many things. I am an artist who uses tape for many things, and this is the one i reach for the most. I use it to label things, sharpie writes perfectly on this tape; I use it to construct things out of cardboard, i use it on paper when i want an interesting texture and color. I like it best for labels because of how well the sharpie adheres to the paper back. The finish is a little glossier than paper, but not nearly as glossy as say traditional plastic packing tape. The tape sticks firmly and stays, but can be removed from cardboard without ripping too much if you know what you're doing and take it slowly, so to some extent it's re-adhesive. I also like that while it's very strong, it is still very thin and can be easily cut open with any sharp tool, even a letter opener, because it is essentially paper. Easy to rip with your hands and easy to get it started to pull off the roll. A definite necessity in my household.

The Mover recommended this Tape for Cardboard boxes. It’s been a Lifesaver! It tears like Masking Tape, no fussing with Scissors, however it adheres like it’s ‘Heat Sealed’!!! I’m packing up a Household, so, I’m ordering my 5th roll today!
