These shoes are not built to last one bit. I will probably get a solid week out of them before they are just completely torn up. Maybe just maybe if they are your church shoes but you dont need slip resistant for that. You will probably get these to work in a restaurant, my advice is dont. I got them today and wore them to work, im not even hard on my feet my position is light work yet they already have a tear in the front. I didnt even know shoes could get tears like this ive seen only wear from months of usage. Check picture I literally wore them for 6 hours and they are torn up. Like I said I may get a week out of them before they are just too far gone. To me if I had the money I would just scrap them now, that little tear is enough to be un presentable and un professional but I have to see what I can get out of them until I can get a good solid pair of different shoes. Not slip resistant what so ever!!! The two pics are after two weeks of wearing, the bottoms are conpletely worn and i slipped and fell while working because of these shoes. Again, these are absolutely not slip resistant and the company should be sued for selling them labeled that way!!

I was so looking forward to wearing these shoes at work. The moment I stepped on the work floor with the slightest bit of moisture, I slipped. There is no non-slip traction on these shoes at all. The styling and width are fine but this is not a safety shoe to wear in any type of restaurant environment where there is moisture of the floor. My day and effectiveness at work day was impacted severely because I could not move comfortably at work today. I do not recommend these for restaurant use by any means. I do wish there was a way to get my money refunded this product.

The shoe its self is a very good shoe. Great look, solid support/ cushion. For a slip resistant shoe I prefer Deer Stag. It doesn't look cheap and its comfortable. I would recommend, but if you work in an environment where any type of oil or grease are a constant do not use this shoe. Oil and grease seem to make the sole of the shoe disintegrate. The other thing is that the sole becomes almost gum like after contact with grease or oil and starts to pick up dust and dirt along with loosing their effectiveness as a slip resistant shoe. If you are using this shoe for a office setting great shoe!! Using this shoe in kitchen/ restaurant setting not a good idea. I have had my shoes since the beginning of the new year and as of January 15th I am looking for a new pair.

These fit a bit large, and I am a big and tall person. I prefer an Oxford to have minimal room. They are not leather, so multiple pairs of these have seen the rubber peeling and separating around the base leaving a gap when walking. They are ok to good for slip resistance, and are for the most part water resistant. I became quite tired of paying hundreds of dollars for Oxford dress shoes, and these have been my go to. I normally stock up on them. Overall, if I had to really dress out I may opt for a better quality shoe, but in todays world and market I don't know that it is as required as it used to be. Very happy with these shoes, even though they have let me down now and again; there are perfect shoes out there but not all shoes are perfect and these are an unbeatable price point.

This shoe was kinda worn and old looking in a matter of a month after wearing to an office a few times/week. I’ve had other Deer Stags that held up better which is why I bought these, despite many reviews warning that they wear quickly. I’d say if you have a need where you only wear black dress shoes once/month, these are a good value. As everyday type shoes, not really.

Very comfortable and slip resistant. Whenever I look to buy work shoes, I need something with comfort, support, and the ability to take it anywhere. My job as a safety and emergency management specialist puts in in everything from construction sites to the executive offices. This shoe serves all those purposes and with memory foam comfort. Softer leather around the ankle means it won't be digging in like stiff dress shoes. So far they are wonderful. No steel toes, but fortunately I didn't need one.

I ordered these shoes 1 week before being furloughed in March. I have returned finally to full time work 1 1/2 weeks ago. Total time of use of these shoes is about 50 Hours of work. The sole is now separating from shoe body. The bottom of sole is almost completely worn bare. Even before sole wore off these shoes were absolutely not slip resistant and very slippery.The absolute worse shoes for work I have ever purchased. I don’t expect them to last forever, but roughly 3 weeks of actual use and to have them in this condition is beyond unacceptable.

I bought these shoes to wear while waiting tables. Out of the box, they weren't very slip resistant, but I didn't get new shoes because I had to spend money on other things instead. However, I've only had them for about 10 days, and the tread is already completely gone, which makes them completely unsafe for restaurant use. I actually slipped and fell at work today because of it. Do not buy these, buy a higher quality shoe instead of wasting your money on these.

The left shoe rubbed for a while on the outer side of my toes/foot but is ok now. Sole is starting to show signs of wear after only a month. They look good and are very grippy, even on the ice. Hopefully they last.

This item was ordered as a last minute emergency replacement shoes for a wedding as the other shoes were damaged by a dog. These shoes were very nice, arrived very quickly and in great condition. The price was much better then we expected for a special size 16 shoe. We were very pleased with this item.

This is an excellent shoe for a heavy person like me who uses them all day at work. They are very comfortable and durable. I consistently buy Deer Stags as they are a perfect balance of comfort, price and quality.

The shoe is a bit stiff but overall very comfortable. I work as a flight attendant doing long haul flights (15 hours+) and they are holding up quite nicely. For the price you really can’t go wrong.

Had these shoes for 3 months wore them on average 1 to 2 days per week. I liked them they are comfortable but now when I walk it sounds like there is air leaking from one of the shoes.
