Works but your mattress will slide
I've used this for quite a while now and it helps with sleep apnea, but does not cause lower back pain like using a wedge pillow does. The stress on my lower back is mitigated by my thick memory foam mattress and topper. Unfortunately with a deep mattress this foam is exposed from your mattress cover and sheets. I didn't worry until my uncle died and I took on his cat who enjoys tearing it up. I recommend they sell a cover for the wedge so it isn't so much fun for cats to destroy with a non-slio top surface. My mattress slides about 5 inches away from the headboard pretty quickly on this thing. Moving it back in position is a lot of extra effort I won't be able to do in my golden years. Great price, wonderful product but needs a anti slip cover so the mattress doesn't slide and the cat doesn't just love scratching at the foam. It has retained it's shape over years but I am not particularly heavy.

GReat quality product - wonderful for lung, reflux etc
This exact product - was shown to us and recommended by our doctor (mayo) to help with my ‘issues’. She wanted a full length wedge, as she said people tend to slide down off of pillow wedges. So we ordered a set of these for our queen size bed. The quality is great - they fit and perform perfectly. They did exactly what they’re supposed to do. I definitely slept better almost the first night. I will warn you - they take some getting used to. Give it a few weeks. We did run into one problem - my husband tends to have some edema (ankles and feet) - and these wedges made that significantly worse. The solution for that was for him to sleep with a pillow under his feet. Here are notes re our set-up experience. We have a traditional cherry bed frame - and were using a box spring under our mattress. A) i COULD have put these wedges between the box spring and the mattress - but that made the bed too high for us. B) thus, i removed the box spring - this then required bed ‘slats’ for the frame. I measured the frame width and length and determined the width minus 1/3 inch. (This would give me slats i could lay into the frame, but still wide enough to stay on the frame, even with weight which can cause slight bowing). Home Depot etc - tell the ‘person’ in lumber you need bed slats. In most cases they’ll recommend the boards to use - likely 4-6 inch wide by 1/2in thick. You’ll need sufficient boards to not quite fill the length of your bed. (Not to tight a fit - but close.) Give the rep your width measurement - they’ll cut - and you’re on your way home. BUT while you are there - buy a basic plastic ‘tarp’ (brown is nice) C) Once home, lay your slats in place. Then lay in your tarp. Staple gun or tac your tarp in place on one side - then cut to fit the rest (this will protect your new wedges and/or your mattress from rubbing tears against the wood). Lay in your wedges - put the mattress in place - you’re done.

Simple and works GREAT
This is a very simple design. I have a queen size bed, so it comes in two sections (left and right) I took it out of the packaging and left it alone for an hour to 'inflate' before I installed it. It is the right thickness and firmness to support your mattress just right. The sizing was perfect and I found the material to have a slight tackiness to it, that ought to stop the mattress from sliding. I just needed to raise the head a little bit (reflux and snoring) and this simple product did the trick. 5 stars from me.

I wish I would have gotten it sooner.
The thick end of the wedge was 5 inches, but the thin end didn't disappear to nothing. So the incline of the mattress was less than 5 inches higher at the head than the foot of the bed. I put 2x4s under the bed's feet at the head of the bed. I believe I should have gotten a 7 inch wedge. On the plus side, this helps with acid reflux and I am sleeping a lot better. It's more comfortable and easier on your back than the foam wedge pillows.
