Review: As good or better than Withings - I've used a Withings BPM for a year or so, and while it worked fine, I was always annoyed that i couldn't get the readings to sync automatically into Garmin Connect (and I spent way too much time trying various ways to make it work, unsuccessfully). But then my wife wanted to start using it. She likes to keep things put away where they belong, which means I can never find it when I want it. So, since i'm committed to the Garmin ecosystem (Index scale, Venu watch, Edge 530 for cycling), I decided I should just get this. I took readings almost every morning the month before my annual physical. Then i took my report along with the device itself with me to the appointment. At the office, the reading was the same as what they took, confirming its accuracy. The reading was a bit high (as it usually is at the appointment), so I pulled out my report for the last month showing that my BP is consistently within normal range. Really happy with the device. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't have a rechargeable battery like the Withings. But it's not like you have to change the batteries very often... so really not a big deal.

**Q: How accurate is this & is there a way to adjust to the readings I get from the equipment in my Drs office? My current home unit is greatly inaccurate.**
A: I was greatly disappointed in this product. I check my blood pressure multiple times a day. This Garmin unit has always given my high readings. I see a doctor once a week and the numbers I get from my doctor are in the normal range. My at home unit I was using before the Garmin device was right in line with my doctors readings. I have quit using my Garmin device all together as I do not trust the readings.

**Q: Can you use nimh rechargeable aaa batteries in this?**
A: nimh batteries will probably work but will have a shorter battery life than non non-rechargeable Alkaline

**Q: Can device be used as a stand alone without readings needing the app?**
A: Yes it can be used with our Mobile App, However it won't save the previous readings data with out app.

**Q: Is it FSA eligible ?**
A: Yes it should be

I've used a Withings BPM for a year or so, and while it worked fine, I was always annoyed that i couldn't get the readings to sync automatically into Garmin Connect (and I spent way too much time trying various ways to make it work, unsuccessfully). But then my wife wanted to start using it. She likes to keep things put away where they belong, which means I can never find it when I want it. Easy to use and fits nicely into the Garmin ecosystem. I take my pressure every morning, and it seems accurate, and I like that the data flows automatically into the Garmin Connect website to allow me to track trends over time. Battery life is great, and it works really well for me!
