Review: Bad - No working nor stable Review: Great record player for the price! - I was looking for a record player with a cassette deck, didn't want to spend a lot right now, and this for the bill perfectly. Just got it within the last hour or two, I immediately plugged it in, threw on a record (picking the inaugural record was the hardest part lol) and this thing is fantastic for the price point. It can play at 3 speeds, pick the speed your LP indicates, or put it faster/slower and be amused. It does have an echo from the tone arm that's pretty noticeable at low volume, but that is normal resonance from the interaction of the needle on the record resonating through the arm. It has Bluetooth, aux, the ability for a line in, and it closes up very neatly in a suitcase. It came with an instruction booklet, power adapter, and an extra needle attachment. It looks great, sounds great, like a record player, and I'm really enjoying it! I went to several places around me yesterday before I bought this, and the cheapest record player I could find was $299, and none of what was available came with a cassette deck, which was one of the features I was specifically looking for. This little player is a fantastic deal, I'm glad I went with this one. I was a little worried about the many one star reviews I read but I'm glad I gave it a chance. ## Features - 3-speed (33 1/3, 45, 78 RPM) record player with built-in speakers provides a crisp, clear listening experience. - Built-in cassette player allows you to listen to your favorite tapes! - Easily stream music from your smart device, no messy wires! - With Vinyl Stream technology, you can now play your favorite records through any Bluetooth speaker! - 3.5mm aux-in means you can connect any non-Bluetooth enabled device for easy listening, and the RCA out allows you to connect to your existing sound systems.Headphone jack lets you plug in and listen in private.Easy-carry handle with portable suitcase design means you can take your favorite tunes on the go ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B1RDRC22 | | Additional Features | Bluetooth Connectivity | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,266 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #25 in Home Audio Turntables | | Brand | Victrola | | Built-In Media | Turntable | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Bluetooth Speaker, Sound System, Speaker | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 157 Reviews | | Cycles | Belt Motor | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00810033111563 | | Included components | Turntable | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 35.6L x 27.9W x 12.7H centimeters | | Item Weight | 3.51 Kilograms | | Item weight | 3.51 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Victrola | | Material | Plastic | | Maximum Rotational Speed | 78 RPM | | Maximum rotational speed | 78 RPM | | Mfr Part Number | VSC-500BTC-BLK | | Model Name | Victrola VSC-500BT | | Model Number | VSC-500BTC-BLK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Consumption | 6 Watts | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Signal Format | phono | | Style Name | Record Player | | UPC | 810033111563 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Victrola - **Included components:** Turntable - **Material:** Plastic - **Maximum rotational speed:** 78 RPM - **Special features:** Bluetooth Connectivity ## Images ![Victrola VSC-500BTC-BLK Vinyl Suitcase Record Player with Cassette, Bluetooth connectivity, 14 x 11 x 5 inches, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61jYvNxRYXL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: can i use this with a bluetooth speaker?** A: The confusion in the answers to this question are because two different models are lumped together. The VSC-500BTC has "Vinyl Streaming Technology" meaning you can output the music to a Bluetooth speaker. The VSC-550BTC does not have the vinyl streaming feature. Both models can input Bluetooth to the internal speakers. **Q: Can you plug this into a large stereo receiver to use some better speakers?** A: Lots of confused answers here... The OP asked if they could plug this player into a "large stereo receiver" - to play the sound coming FROM the player on larger (better) speakers. As Samuel Kline mentions it is certainly possible. Connect a red/white audio cable from the "RCA Out" jacks (on the back of the player) to your stereo amplifier (then connect that amp to your bigger/better speakers). Have fun... @kbrieash: the stereo reciever needs an RCA-IN (pretty much all stereo receivers have an RCA-in) @Siniwerx: no, this unit DOES have an RCA-out (it's on the back) @James Orenthal K. Emmett Robsi… : no - that's for headphones- it's not the way to get good sound for a stereo receiver. Use the RCA-out (on the back of the player) @Ralph: you'll get great sound if you use the RCA-out jacks on the back @kbrieash (again): the original question was about using the sound FROM the player - not sending sound TO the player. ...phew! **Q: Does it come with replacement needles? If not, where can you buy them?** A: The Victrola Bluetooth Suitcase Turntable comes with one replacement needle in addition to the needle installed on the tonearm. There is a simple way to get an additional replacement needle for free. You register your Victrola Bluetooth Suitcase Turntable on Victrola.com. As a thank you for doing so, Victrola mails you a free replacement needle. **Q: does it come with 45 adapter? Thanks** A: Yes a 45 adapter is included. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Bad *by M***R on 11 May 2026* No working nor stable ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great record player for the price! *by M***B on 22 March 2026* I was looking for a record player with a cassette deck, didn't want to spend a lot right now, and this for the bill perfectly.
