I ordered this Shani Darden facial sculpting wand as I feel like my skin across my upper cheeks and jawline is getting a little bit less firm and toned. I spent a lot of years in the sun and outside in the wind and rain enjoying myself, and now my skin is paying a bit of a price. I would not go back and change my activities, but I might wear more sunscreen and hats. That being said, I can only move forward now. So I have started trying to use effective tools to help make my skin tone as optimal as it can be. That typically includes using moisturizer and toner and different hydration tools, and this seems like a really good idea to try. This sculpting device is supposed to target wrinkles and boost circulation in particular areas. Imagine if you can just decrease the wrinkles around your eyes a little, or those frown lines or smile lines just a little. That would be amazing. This tool comes with two different heads and it's supposed to help to transmit sound waves below the skin surface to firm and tone your skin. It's supposed to help rejuvenate the appearance of your skin. Sounds amazing. One of the things that I have noticed is that anytime I take a little moment to care for myself and then perhaps relax, my skin looks better. Using this sculpting wand is definitely taking some time for yourself. It is pleasant and relaxing and even a little fun to imagine that there's an expensive tool out there that can just resurface your skin in some ways. They suggest that you use a particular gel to help transmit the sound waves and they've included a small sample of that gel. I wish for this price they included a larger sample because this is not an inexpensive treat. This is a pretty expensive tool and quite a splurge. Before I use any product on my face I typically wash and gently dry it just to make sure that I am isolating the effects of that tool. I tend to have sensitive skin and so I just want to make sure I don't get any irritation. Using this tool absolutely did not irritate my skin at all. I have to say I did not notice a drastic effect on my face, but the skin did look a little springier and perhaps a little more rested. Just a bit more toned. I have now used it a few times and notice a slight difference and I'm hoping the effects will increase over time. This does provide another unspoken benefit, it provides you with me time to just focus on yourself and relax. That is always a splurge that is worth taking. That alone provides benefits and when you couple it with some rejuvenation of your face and lessening your wrinkles a bit, that's a wonderful benefit. I am so happy I ordered!

I do love skin care devices in general but I have to admit, I do not always enjoy USING them. I have many, and vary with how consistent I incorporate them because often it feels like a chore I cannot motivate myself into at the end of the day. Not this Shani Darden Skin Care wand though! I have been really enjoying every single minute I get to use this wand, as in deeply enjoying the actual minutes of 'treatment' themselves. And even better, I have been very happy with the results it's already delivering only 7 days into using. I am 42 and have been noting the aging process suddenly presenting itself more rapidly. I absolutely feel I can appreciate modest but notable improvements to my skin tone and overall appearance since beginning to incorporate this 7 days ago. After a session, my skin and facial tone appear much more relaxed, my facial contours look considerably more youthful, and light reflections coming off of my skin are much smoother and more flattering because of the tension relaxing effect this offers. It all indeed delivers a tighter, smoother skin appearance that has more youthful sculpting rather than the gravity and tension related changes that have been slowly taking hold over the past 2 year. My skin tone look more even and healthy, which I assume is from from the boost in circulation this device provides. This sculpting wand produces gentle acoustic sound wave vibrations which feel soothing, relaxing, and VERY much enjoyable(and addicting). This is not like a High frequency wand or micro current device that produces any unpleasant sensations, no these vibrations instead feel like a professional facial massage that can be delivered on demand from the comfort of your home. The various speeds and settings allow for fine adjustment of both the depth and speed of the vibrations, all of which seem appropriate yet effective for use on more delicate facial structures. I have never had a skin care device I look forward to using as much as this one, nor a device I have to constantly tell myself to put down and stop due to recommended session time here being a max 5-10 minutes. I find the flat disc works terrific for cheeks, forehead, jawline, and scalp and the smaller precision ball feels amazing to use on all areas around the mouth, including nasolabial folds, as well as eyebrows. I especially love how terrific and relaxing this device feels when used around my mouth, inner brows, and jaw region. This is heavenly for anyone who struggles with jaw clenching or teeth grinding at night like I do as the vibrations help release the tightness I tend to build up almost instantly. Likewise, after coming in from the bright outdoors or after brow furrowing inducing work stress, this device feels incredible to use along inner and upper brows and along forehead or temples and it indeed prompts those furrowed muscles to unclench and visibly relax, which does give a botox like improvement in the depth of wrinkles associated with those overworking muscles. The device pairs beautifully with the included hydra prep gel, which helps the wand glide smoothly without any tugging though I also love knowing that this wand works beautifully with any other slip providing skincare product I want to use it with. The only remote negative thing I can say about my experience so far is that I am not a fan of using this directly around the eyes. Inner brows, and along the brow, yes. Under the brow but still away from my eyeball itself, not so much. And likewise even the lowest setting with the finer tip feels a bit awkward and 'too much' to use directly under my eyes. No problem though here as that just gives me more minutes back I can spend on my favorite areas. This sculpting wand has quickly become an enjoyable, effortless, skincare ritual that I look forward to using daily. And though it is indeed an investment, I feel it is a quality device that offers quality results and when combined with the daily enjoyment it offers this all becomes a worthwhile investment. While I'm not necessarily expecting it will ever fully unwind time, halt my signs of aging, or offer face lift type effects, this facial sculpting wand has already proven to me it offers notable benefits beyond the tension relief it provides. With consistent daily use my biggest observed results so far have been the smoothing of my nasolabial folds and smile lines as well as the tightening of my early jowls. It has also given me a more glowing, vibrant, refreshed overall skin tone and appearance (as if I've just wrapped up a terrific, relaxing stress free vacation that took 5 years off my face).With only one week of use so far I have found these results are visible in the immediate hours post treatment, and it seems my skin benefits and looks better after repeating the treatment each day as a lot of my tension does become notable again 24 hours later. I have found that consistent use is key here (which is great since I love using it ) though the effects do seem to build on one another and the results seem to last longer with each use.
