The only bad note I have had with this is that when you pour it, it doesn't come out evenly and will drip on the counter. It's something I myself can live with as the quality out weights it, but if you have a nice table cloth, be careful or pour the coffee at the counter. ;)After initially getting this for tea, I've used it mainly for coffee for the last 6 months. What I can say about it, it makes wonderful coffee, easy to clean, and is built fairly well. I bought this one after buying a cheaper version from another company, that was broken on arrival. I am very happy with this product and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good\reliable French coffee press. The glass isn't very thick and seems delicate but mine has survived slipping from my wet hands into the sink twice. A surprise to me since my last press cost me more than twice this one and it broke while I was stirring grounds in it. A light tap with a spoon while I was half awake and it was over. Not this time though! A decent press with minimal flaws. The real true flaw, the one that stands out most, is the use of plastic on the cap and pour filter. This should have been made with metal and good rubber rings for sealing. But I paid a cheap price and did not expect more than what I got. Overall, a good purchase.
