GRAND VIDEOKE SYMPHONY 3 PRO (TKR-373)

I purchased this item for my 11 year old daughter for christmas. Before I made the purchase I chatted with their customer service about the product. Although we are not filipino, the machine had thousands of songs in english that i thought my daughter would enjoy. One of my main concerns was if the songs had vocals (singers that sing along with the song) on it. The rep said not all songs had it, making it sound as if a small percentage did not. I figure with thousands of songs, I could live with a few that didn't have vocals. Well, it turned out that maybe about a 100 songs out of thousands had vocals. Now, maybe I should have asked more clearly or maybe the rep could have been more clear. This problem made it very difficult for my daughter to sing songs. Also, although the background music was good it was not original. I knew this part because of my research. I just didn't realize how difficult it was to sing along when the music is off. There was also some misspelling with the lyrics but that wasn't really a big deal.Other than these few problems, the machine is quite good. The microphone was a good quality and had great functions. The machine itself with all the available function was really good. You can select tone, echo, microphone loudness, background videos on the songs and so much more.I would have kept this machine if it had the vocals to the song. But with so few songs with vocals, my daughter stopped singing in 20 minutes. Even though this item was sold and shipped by the seller, which always makes me a little worried, the return and communication by this company is outstanding. I contacted Amazon about the return and they, because they did not ship it, emailed the seller for me. The seller called me within a day and asked me the reason for return and i told them. Rep told me he would forward my reasons to the mangers and I should be receiving an email with a return shipping address. They sent an email in a day but informed me that as policy there was a 20% restocking fee. I was not happy with this. I contacted Amazon and Amazon emailed them. They agreed to waive that fee.Bottom line is, its a good machine sold by a pretty good company. It just wasn't the machine for us. Amazon also helped me in resolving the return with ease. Another reason why buying from Amazon is better. They stood behind the customer.

I ordered this for my fiancee although I was hesitant about the price. Turns out it is worth every penny. Shipping was fast. So you don't panic as I did, you may not get your authentication codes for the free songs immediately after the purchase. They came via email almost immediately after the delivery. The Grand Videoke Symphony 3 Pro is awesome. The picture is clear, audio is clear and it is packed with features. I have ours hooked up to the TV with the HDMI cable and audio is hooked up to the surround sound. There is a very slight delay in the audio, but I think I only noticed it because it was mentioned in the reviews. Like I said, its very slight.The GV Smart App is what makes this so great. It's easy to install on your phone or tablet through the App Store or Google Play. It uses WiFi to connect to the Grand Videoke. TIP: Like most apps you need to accept the permissions otherwise it will not work. It asks you to scan the QCode on the TV screen and then it connects. You need to be on the same WiFi connection as the Grand Videoke is on. TIP: To avoid having to scan the QCode every time, simply select "Use Last Connection" whenever you start the app. The app makes it really easy to find songs. You can use your voice or search by artist or song title. It also works as a full remote. More than one device can connect at a time which makes it nice when more than one person is singing. You can send onscreen messages or hit the "applause" button when someone is done singing.New Songs - We had an older magic mic where you had to order song chips online. Once they arrived in the mail, you inserted them into the mic. With the Grand Videoke and GV Smart App, you can browse new song volumes (100 songs come in a volume) and cost $20USD. You download that volume using the smart app, then transfer it to the main unit. Total time only takes a few minutes. If you have trouble, make sure your base system is running the latest version. It should say if an update is needed.One last tip, instructions aren't the best. It comes with a quick set up manual, but you can find more detailed instructions in the very back of the included songbook.Overall, we are very happy and recommend this to anyone who loves karaoke.

Ordered this for my wife. She absolutely loves it because of the vast amount of Filipino songs to choose from, the screen display and the sound quality of the mics. The only thing keeping this from getting a 5 star rating is due to the hdmi connection. When you connect the Grand Karaoke to your smart tv via hdmi cable there is a slight, but noticeable delay in the audio. The only way to fix that is to use the rca cords (provided) which is just fine as long as you know that. Overall, a very fun piece of equipment for the part-time lead singers in your home.
