Replacement for my ASUS MoBo
My previous Asus MoBo was a headache! Several compatibility problems, more specifically with DD5 RAMs sticks. I decided to change to this MSI model and all works fine! Thanks MSI for this great product

Unleash the Dragon
Luckily there are lots of options when it comes to buying a new AM5 motherboard and I spent plenty of research time understanding features, vendor "state of updates" and best fit for my needs. This model came out on top mainly due to the way it allocates the cpu lanes a bit differently to others - using extra PCI slots doesnt take away the cpu lanes for drives but just usb instead. Also i only typically upgrade my PC every 10 years so wanted to spend extra to future-proof myself. Yes would have been nice to have usb4 but on balance i doubt i will use a usb4 external drive in the future, especially as this comes with more than normal ssd slots and i could always get a usb4 pci card if needed. The setup and bios are very easy and hardware feels very solid and sturdy. Nice positioning of ports and looks cool/shiny. Overall I'm a happy dragon!

Most disappointing motherboard I've bought in years
It's been a couple of decades since I bought MSI, but this board reviewed well so I gave it a go. In comparison to Gigabyte and ASUS boards I've used over the last few years, it's incredibly disappointing. Boot time into Windows 11 is multiple minutes (almost a minute just for for the BIOS splash to load). This compares to under 10 seconds for a complete boot from the last 4 or 5 builds I've had. It's a massive step backwards. And with XMP enabled, Windows won't wake from sleep. Seems to be a common issue according to the MSI forums, with no actual solution. I regret not sticking with better performing brands.
