MNN 15.6" FHD 60Hz Portable Monitor USB-C HDMI IPS HDR Gaming Laptop
MNN 15.6" FHD 60Hz Portable Monitor USB-C HDMI IPS HDR Gaming Laptop This is a very compact screen, for laptop or computer with HDMI connections. It runs off of power from the computer, it does have a switch to turn on and off through the electronics. Its not a hard on/off switch. The color is brilliant and clear, its quality rivals some of the more expensive dedicated monitors. SUPPORT IS OUTSTANDING one cleavett This monitor has an auto shut off, it is keyed when the data to the screen is absent, then there is a very short timer (I think it is for "No Data" that will shut the screen down if data is not restored in that time span. YOU CAN NOT change that timer span or turn it off. it is programmed in the electronics programming. A problem I found was... when some operating systems start up when they switch between the computer start up bios to the operating system, there may be a loss of data during this switch over. If that data is gone LONG ENOUGH, it will shut down the screen. Because the screen loads info on start up, IF you can restart the screen, it does not have the data it needs to run and display your operating system. I found in most cases it won't restart after the timer shuts it down. this does not happen in all operating system start ups, and it may be a programming problem on the part of the user, but it is something to be aware of. I will cautiously Recommend this monitor. When it works, it is very good. It is the most convenient portable screen I have ever used. It is powered by the computer battery so it is extremely portable. The chance that you may see this shut down problem is low and as I said, it only did this to one of my start up systems. I said SUPPORT WAS EXCELLANT. I turned to them for ideas to the problem of shutdown. I was hoping they knew how to run off the monitor shut down but they said it was in the programming. They responded to me several times as I was struggling to figure out what was going on. I finally figured out what was triggering the shut down but, since I am not a tech guy, I think they didn't believe all I said and may have thought it was a possible problem in the monitor so they send me another one FREE.... But it was the same programming, same concern. These screens do work on certain operating systems without a problem. I will adjust to those systems when this monitor is being used. 260820 1408

Excellent Portable Monitor at a Great Value
I did a lot of research before purchasing a portable monitor and ultimately decided on this MNN 15.6" FHD monitor when it went on sale. After using it, I can honestly say I don't regret the decision at all. Everything was exactly as advertised. The display is clear and sharp, setup was simple, and it worked right out of the box with my devices. The screen quality is excellent for both productivity and general use, and the portability makes it easy to take anywhere. For the price, especially on sale, this monitor offers outstanding value. After comparing many options, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable portable monitor.

Great portable Monitor for Work and Entertainment
I’m really impressed with this portable monitor. The 15.6-inch Full HD display looks bright and clear, and the colors are beautiful. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the smart cover makes it convenient to set up anywhere. The USB-C connection is very convenient, and I love that it can be used as a second screen for my laptop. The built-in speakers are also a nice bonus. Setup was quick and simple, with no complicated installation. Overall, it’s a great option if you need an extra screen for work, studying, gaming, or traveling. Excellent picture quality, portable design, and easy to use. Highly recommended

For the money, this is VERY hard to beat.
You know, we're in the era of 4k monitors and there are a number of situations where you very much desire that kind of crisp resolution.. but.. in a 15.6" portable monitor, 1080p is really more than enough at least 98% of the time. The fact that you can get that in a portable monitor for THIS kind of money.. is insane. Pros: - The transport cover that transforms into the monitor stand (like an old iPad cover) is VERY cool. Makes tossing the monitor into a backpack or a piece of luggage.. something don't even think about.. throw and go. - That built-in cover means the total weight of this thing is just a hair over 1.5 lbs. You won't even notice it in your bag. - The ease of using USB-C connectivity as a single cable method to drive this thing.. couldn't be more convenient. - The ability to support legacy devices via the HDMI interface.. also super simple. - The versatility of this thing is just incredible, especially when you remove the cover and discover VESA mounting options. - It doesn't go into some panic state when it loses signal, just instantly drops into a power-saving mode and waits for signal to return. - Resolution and Refresh are crisp and fast. Cons: - Really, at this price you can't complain about it not being 4K.. it is full 1080p and doesn't disappoint. - While it can be driven via HDMI, it still needs USB-C power in that conviguration. This requires the source to have USB-C power to give it.. if it doesn't.. you need a USB-C power supply.. and one doesn't come with the unit. That's an oversight. They don't even offer it as an option, which is a shame. Honestly, that's all that keeps this from being a 5-star product.

Absolutely amazing for the price
Right away I will say that *no*, this obviously isn't some exceptional high performance monitor. It's a super-portable little budget monitor, and as one of those it's fantastic. It is a huge screen that is thinner than most laptops and utterly featherweight- when I took it out of the packaging I assumed it was just the case, but its the whole unit in its case. It comes pre-installed into a folding case-stand that works very well. It has a data+PD USBC cord that can run the monitor all-in-one from most laptops and computers, but also has an HDMI-to-MiniHDMI cable included that is extremely welcome for game consoles and upscalers. It basically has everything you need except a power brick. The picture is an incredibly crisp and clear 1080p60hz, which is just fine for just about any video, productivity, or gaming activity. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by how snappy and responsive the display actually is; I am very sensitive to input latency on most TVs and this has almost no noticeable timing lag. Playing game consoles and FPGA systems feels super responsive. Despite the 5 stars for what it is, I will be realistic about the overall picture. The pixels are sharp and the response is great, but as a low-cost IPS display it has a faded, low-contrast look with dull black colors. Right away you'll want to turn up the brightness and contrast to get a more vibrant picture. The built-in speakers are weak but clear, and you'll want them turned up fairly high. Those all sound negative, but it's perfectly fine for an ultralight mobile screen! It's easy to set up and adjust, plays absolutely great, and is just absurdly low-price and ultra-portable. Great item.

Great price, Good product
Resolution is great, colors are vibrant, sound is unnecessary and does not work well. The folding stand is great and protects the screen. The connection to my laptop is crisp. The color is slightly off, nothing major. I have a ROG gaming laptop which has fantastic color and resolution and the monitor is slightly less vibrant. Good product. Would recommend over other brands.

Overall great value, for the stated purpose of being a portable monitor
This is a review of two monitors: MNN Portable Monitor 15.6inch FHD 1080P (no model number listed) M156F01 is marked on the box Arzopa Portable Monitor, 15.6'' 1080P model number: “S1 Table” I ordered the Arzopa monitor first, as kind of an impulse buy. I was going to be traveling and wanted to take my mini Ryzen 9 PC with me, but it had no monitor. I found the Arzopa monitor had good reviews and the price was right so I ordered. Then later I discovered it was a MATTE panel. I’m not sure how I missed that earlier, but I would NOT have ordered it if I knew that it was matte. Matte finishes on monitors are supposed to be easier on eyes as the matte surface supposedly reduces glare. But in my experience, there is a problem with this feature. First, any monitor positioned properly should never have a problem with glare. For example, you don’t position a monitor facing a large window or another source of strong light. If your monitor is positioned correctly, glare should not be a possible problem to be solved. Second, the matte finish on most monitors I have seen tends to greatly distort the picture quality. Imagine you are standing outside at noon, but the area you are in is foggy. The view you have of your surroundings (through a light fog) is similar to the picture quality of any matte finish monitor. At least, in my experience. I was sitting in front of my two large (not portable) monitors, thinking about the mistake I made in ordering a matte finish portable monitor. And I realized…I was so used to using dual monitors that I would really want two monitors for travel, also. I read some reviews of the MNN monitor and someone described it as a GLOSSY panel. Perfect. I decided to order the MNN to use as my “primary” travel monitor with the Arzopa to be used as my “second” monitor for a dual monitor setup while traveling. That led to mistake number 2. They are both matte finish. When I realized this, they had both shipped. And they were delivered very quickly , both arriving on the same day. I decided to give these monitors a try, and I’m glad I did. While they are both described officially as “matte”, the picture qualify is closer to what I would expect from a true “glossy” surface computer monitor. And they both have much more than acceptable image quality. So to compare them: FEATURES: Their features are identical other than their physical controls. For adjusting these monitors, there is a difference between them, and I PREFER one over the other, as far as controls go. Arzopa has multi-function push buttons on the left to adjust settings like brightness/contrast. MNN has push-buttons and a teeny tiny joystick on the right to adjust settings like brightness/contrast. I think this is an odd design decision for a -portable- monitor. The Arzopa controls are both more intuitive and (I believe) probably more sturdy / more likely to be reliable over time. We’ll see if the tiny joystick of the MNN survives a few trips bouncing around in my checked bags. DISPLAY QUALITY I was very pleasantly surprised by the image quality of both of these monitors. I would rate them both a solid 9/10 on image quality. I’ve seen better, but only with OLED panels. Between the two if I had to pick a winner for image quality it would be the MNN. But the difference is so slight. I think they both deserve a “9”. While I can tell they are both matte (and I do not like that) the matte finish of these monitors is not as “foggy” as most matte monitors. It’s not matte enough to detract from the overall image quality, which is great. The factory settings of both monitors had the brightness (black lefel) set too high. Brightness is what controls how “black” black items will appear. If the Brightness is set too high, then something which should be color black will appear to be gray or (worse) even light gray. After I turned down the brightness a bit on both monitors, the black level of both was very satisfying. Speakers: I would never try to use speakers on a portable monitor, so I can’t comment on this. I don’t think the Arzopa even has speakers, but it doesn’t matter, as I would not use those. STAND: They have virtually identical magnetically attached pleather stands that can be used to support the monitors in vertical or horizontal orientation. The magnets on both are pretty weak. However, it should be adequate for use on a solid desk or table. You might not be happy on an airplane if you hit turbulence at all. Summary and suggestion for improvement: I would give both of these a 4-star rating on the Amazon scale. To earn a 5-star rating I would suggest: 1) Replace the magnetic stand with something that attaches to the monitor more firmly. 2) Include a USB-C cable with a right-angle connector on one end. For dual monitor use, these both have cables sticking out the left side. If you want to set them side by side, you need to keep them about 2” apart, because the cables interfere with setting them close together, like you want to. The most obvious solution would be a right-angle USB-C cable. I have ordered one. But it would cost nothing for Arzopa and MNN to include this. 3) Make the above changes without increasing the price. If you could do that, I would rate these monitors a solid 5/5. There are better monitors for sale. But for the stated purpose and price? These are close to what I would want. Very close. FINAL THOUGHT: (Which One Should I Buy?) There are many portable monitors available with plenty of options in the same relative price range. The two I am reviewing here are a couple of the most highly rated. If you are trying to choose between these two specific monitors, I would recommend you buy the Arzopa. While the MNN has slightly better image quality, they both have really good image quality. I think the design of the Arzopa is just a bit more appropriate for the stated purpose of being portable. If you are leaning toward the MNN however, I would not discourage you from buying it. If you’ve narrowed down your decision to these two specific monitors, I don’t think you can possibly choose “wrong” if you buy only one of them. They both exceeded my expectations.

Amazing portable monitor for the price.....
I did a lot of research before I purchased this monitor; and it paid off. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I purchased this monitor for the express purpose of using it with Samsung DEX with my Galaxy S10 (and upcoming Fold 5 purchase). I can't tell you how happy I am with how well it works with DEX, a Bluetooth keyboard and a mouse. Now I will be able to take this traveling with me, instead of my expensive Surface Pro, and have pretty much everything I need from a computer/device while away. BTW....It also works amazing as a second monitor for my Surface Pro. I'll be using it this summer; as I move my home office outside to the patio (no more having to stay in a stuffy inside office when it is beautiful outside; and I need a second screen). It's exceptionally easy to hook up to both my Samsung phone and my Surface Pro. The picture is great; and brighter than I even expected. Especially like the multiple ports available on the monitor (including 2 fully functioning USB C ports). Will be recommending this product to all my friends.

Great portable monitor
14” portable monitor PM1403. Plugged straight in and worked instantly. Initial opinion is that it is a clear crisp image, with many settings to suit each application it is used for. Only disappointing point is that it was meant to come with a Smart Cover according to the item description, but nothing in the box. I’ll have to try and source one for travelling with.
