McDuory Digital Amplifier Outdoor HDTV Antenna, 150 Miles with mounting Pole, Tools Free Installation, VHF/UHF

The only reason I'm writing this review is the seller contacted me asking about my satisfaction with this antenna so here's my opinion.Of all the antennas I purchased from Amazon this was absolutely the worst one I only received one station with this antenna. Granted I live 40 miles from the nearest TV Tower. But with the other ones I purchased I at least got three or four stations and this one was supposed to be a long-range antenna.I thought possibly it was defective so I returned it and purchased another antenna same make and model since I thought it was just a manufacturing defect. Imagine my surprise when it was the same terrible signal only receiving one over the airchannel.The only reason I did not return the antenna isI accidentally dropped it while removing it from the roof and physically damaged the aluminum fins of the antenna. Otherwise I would have returned it for a refund terrible antenna. If I could I would give it to 0 Stars.

Amazing antenna with excellent reception! We received it days ago and assembled it during the weekend. It took me a while to read the instruction paper and watch the video on youtube to make sure I install the antenna correctly.I also received an email from McDuory (just when I received the package) to teach me how to test it and which direction should I locate the antenna to.  I follow the instruction, connect the antenna directly to gain controller,  turn up the gain controller, then, WAH!!! Know what I have? I have over 55 channels in crystal pictures. I only got 35 local channels before. Even when I turn down the amplifier I still get 40 channels. This antenna is absolutely a fantastic stuff for me! Thank you McDuory!

Unfortunately I couldn't install this for my friend until after the return window closed. It picked up channelsmwhen tested in the living room, but when I moved it to the attic and connected to the built in cable wiring, no signal. I spent 4 hours trying to track down the "wiring problem" before finally testing the antenna again downstairs. This time I learned it had an on again / off again short, wiring break, or circuit board problem depending on which way you turned it. (Upside down, etc). After a bit of this it would not work at all. I went to Wal-Mart and picked up an inexpensive antenna without a signal amplifier or circuit board to go bad, and it worked right out of the box with the exact same wiring, plus picked up just as many channels.

It's a pretty awesome thing. We were so excited to try the antenna out that we didn't wait for the guy to come and install it on the roof. We got 7 channels just throwing it up on the roof. Once it was actually installed and aimed toward the transmitting towers in Phoenix we ended up getting 70 channels. Many are in Spanish and there's a half dozen shopping channels, a bunch of infomercial ones, some religious. But we get all the local channels except PBS which is a real bummer and I can't imagine why not and only that one. So bottom line, this is a great product.

I have ordered 3 of these antennas. Of the 3 , 2 are currently betting used. Both are on houses in the mountains off the Pacific Northwest. Both are pulling in 25 to 30 channels, pictures are clear n crisp. Good product and i recommend it to anyone.

Easy install, works better than expected. I now receive more channels than I ever have. I use this antenna 100 miles southeast of Dallas, Texas. I pick up tv stations from Dallas,Tyler and Waco

Out of all I have had this one works great. I would recommend it.

This antenna is awesome. Fairly easy to assemble with the instruction paper. we adjust the amplifier to test the signals in different direction and now the tv has clear pictures and quite consistent. Good Choice.
