Provides hardwire network connection and compatible with Ecowitt and related sensor system. The Ecowitt app is the main winner for me. I can monitor vacation home temp humidity and leak detection remotely. For fun I have wind speed sensor outdoors along the sea side dunes. Probably 150-200 ft between sensor and gateway.

Love that this install so easily, is small and easily concealed. Provides temperature and barometric pressure readings as well as humidity and interfaces with numerous Ecowitt sensors, such as wind, rain, and multiple temperature sensors that can be added at any time. The app for PC or iPhone is great and allows easy reading of the data. Also it interfaces with Ambient weather products as well. A great buy for the weather enthusiast.

I integrated this with Home Assistant to monitor soil moisture levels and weather, then use that information to control my Zigbee sprinkler system. It's been working great for about a year, completely offline with no cloud bs, and the newest version of Home Assistant actually has a native integration for Ecowitt stuff. A+, will continue buying from this company!

I ordered a Ambient Weather WS-3000 station with 8 temperature sensors 3 years ago. Except for an issue with the console displays last line starting to dim it still works great. The probem is I could never access it online. You have to view the console directly. Low and behold comes the GW-2000. A Ecowitt hardwired console. Because the device had a mac address label on it, I was able to configure it in less than 10 minutes. It's great that I can view various tempertaures with my online access now. Definitely would order again. Tx Ecowutt!

The WS90 with the WiFi hub makes for a good weather station. The setup is pretty straightforward, and the system is easy to use. I integrated it with Home Assistant. It's the only weather station I have, so I can't make any judgements about how accurate the data is, but it feels like a reliable indicator. The reliance on solid state sensors over mechanical sensors (no moving parts) should mean a longer life. Mine has been on top of a pole in Zone 6 for a year and still looks new. Under normal conditions a good set of alkaline batteries is meant to last 4 months or more. My unit began using up batteries more quickly. I contacted support and they were great. Very responsive and no hassles. The positive support experience prompted me to go back and write a review.
