Women's Winter Cycling Pants Padded Fleece Lined Bike Thermal Tights

I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and quality of these tights. The material is soft, warm and thicker than I was expecting at this price point. They are cut correctly to cover the lower back when on the bike. I'm 5'4", 130 pounds, medium build with a little bit of a belly. Size large fit me nicely, since I like a little room to breath in my athletic clothes. The only thing I don't like about them is the width of the pad. It extends a little too far down the leg, so is annoying when walking, but wasn't a problem when riding. If these hold up well, I'll probably buy a second pair in the near future.

I am an avid cyclist and spend many hours in the saddle so I usually buy high end branded bike clothes. I needed a new pair of winter tights and saw that these Baleaf had a 5 star rating so decided to try them. Wow, I love these tights. They fit great and the nice wide waistband adds comfort. The legs are fitted but not sausage tight. The padding is a nice thickness and very comfortable. The fabric is a very good quality and they wash well and dry quickly. These are warmer than my previous tights without making me break out in a sweat. There is a smallish back waistband zipper pocket good for keys, ChapStick and a credit card. The wrap around hip pockets are nice but they narrow to a point so are not large enough for most cellphones. I would definitely buy another pair. I have previously bought Baleaf items and I find they have made great strides in improving their biking apparel.

I like these much more than I thought I would. They are more comfortable than name brand cycling tights that cost five times as much. The fit is great, I love the side pockets and the padding is super comfortable on long rides. The leggings are nice and warm as well. Thick material but stretchy. Not at all see through. I wore them in the rain and they offer some water resistance. Very happy.

Here’s what I do love: the skinny legs which cannot get tangled in the chain or stuck in any other way . It’s a no- brainer, I know- but I am not a person who wears leggings normally, And I’ve been riding and shorts or capris since getting my bike, until it got cold. So that part is great. These are a bit long for me but it doesn’t matter. I turned up the bottoms a little and they are not tight or bunched up or anything. The high waist is good, and the stretchiness. They seem very nicely made. I wouldn’t mind more reflective material, but the little dots on the legs are probably better than nothing. Compared to regular summer leggings, these are slightly fleecy, but not at all thick. They do feel cozy when you put them on, but if it was really cold, it seems like you might need another layer. I wasn’t cold, but I could feel the 50 degree chill on my thighs. I got caught in light rain while wearing them for the last eight miles of my first ride in them today and they did pretty much shed water. My shoes were wet but I think my legs were not. I think they claim to be water resistant and they are. What I don’t love is the padding( which was the whole point of buying these). These are my first padded pants. It’s great on the seat bones but the perineal area padding actually seems to make the seat less comfortable rather than more comfortable . I have ridden 500 miles in the past three months in regular cotton / denim capris, most of those miles on a cloud 9 seat, without difficulty so I thought adding the padding would be just amazing. Instead it put pressure in the area where I have never felt any pressure riding before. I am contemplating cutting it out of the front area but that’s probably a bad idea. When you aren’t riding it does feel like you are wearing a diaper- I think you would not want to run to the grocery store while wearing them. Just for riding, in my opinion. I’m giving a 4 star for the padding being so uncomfortable. Maybe that’s just how padded bike pants are.

I have trouble finding sports gear that is long enough in the legs. I am 5' 71/2" and my inseam is 33.5. These Baleaf cycling pants are long enough without being capris which surprised me. They are warm with nice pockets on the side and very comfortable. The padding is quite good without being overly bulky or too thin. All in all a good buy at a reasonable purchase.

Wow they're very comfortable and warm. Fits true to size. I am a size S but I also bought these in a size M (just in case the padding was going to feel bulky). I did not need to size up at all. They're high waist and fit just right. It felt very comfortable on the bike with these on! I would order these again in more colors. Worth the price

I have other cycling pants from this brand that work better than these. These are not the most comfortable although they help a little (compared to no padding at all). The padding on the butt is very wide and long so it actually runs down my inner thighs which isn’t comfy. I have to adjust a lot in the saddle during the first 5-10 min of each ride in these because it feels like the padding isn’t supporting the right places and sometimes it feels like it’s pinching in my upper thigh/lower glute area. I’m not sure why the padding with this pair is so different from the other pairs I have from this brand (the cropped leggings are much better in my opinion). For reference, I use a Peloton.

Acheté pour ma femme, elle les adore. Très confortables, bien ajustés et suffisamment chauds pour le printemps et l’automne. En hiver, elle les porte sous un pantalon imperméable qui sert de coupe-vent, et c’est parfait. Le rembourrage 4D fait vraiment la différence sur les longues sorties. Achetés il y a plus d’un an, ils sont encore très beaux après de nombreux lavages — la qualité est au rendez-vous.
