Great Relief on short to long rides
This comes as a basic package. No instructions, no labels, no paper! But it is easy to install. I had some trouble because I have oval bars and the diameter across the oval put the collar to the limit. I have ridden three times now and find that my 6'2" frame is getting some much needed relief. I am not suffering from numb hands or numb feet any more on a 25 mile sprint. I think the detachable elbow pads may be a problem with sweat accumulation during the summer months, but right now they are are working just fine. For the price, this is a great add-on to your road bike if you are into distant riding.

So far they are what I expected.
UPDATE: I have changed my review to only 1 star.. The left bracket broke while I was going down the highway. I am a very slender 6'2" not some fat guy. I heard a crack, and the left aero bar suddenly went down.. this is a major safety issue. I was lucky that I did not crash, or loose control and get hit by a car. I had about 600 miles logged on these. I like them, I like the way they look.. But I don't like the idea of spending over $50 on the bars, and more on handlebar tape just to have it break. I do not ride my bike off-road at all. The part can not be repaired. I also do not have the contact anymore from the supplier..They mounted well and make it much easier to ride the bike over distance. These are the second pair that I received or I would give it 5 stars. The first pair I received one of the arm rest was broken and one bar looked like it had been used. However the company sent me a whole new set without question. Very good customer support on this one.I have just put these on and so far they seem great. As you can see in the pic I put handlebar tape on them. For those who wonder.. I am 6'2" and the bars seem to be a good length for me mounted on a bike with flat bars. I see reviews all the time that the bars are too short.

Not shabby for a first set
First off, I am new to road biking. After researching and polling fellow riders about aero bars, I pulled the trigger. They mounted easy enough, with enough options to make them effective for my riding style. A riding style that it is still maturing. Regardless, they mounted easy enough, provided there are NO instructions. Odd. But these bars are strong and feel secure. My first ride trying them out was a learning experience. 20-30 MPH gusts here in Texas made the ride a chore and limited me to 31 miles. But when I wasn't beaten down and the situation was ideal, I rode them. And while there are plenty of professional riding styles, and professionals that maximize aerodynamics, I think I did a good job. Small increase in MPH, equating to 1 - 1 1/2 gain without any extra effort to maintain speed. It allowed me to keep a comfortable pace, saving some energy - and ultimately testing my balance. When rocking bars like these, or I imagine any, you must be balanced. any loss in groundspeed, like my wind gusts, make you a bit unsteady. But this is not a fault of the product, just physics. I'm glad I own them. They give my ride an aggressive appearance. The construction is not cheap. As mentioned before, they feel very secure. The velcro pads are of good quality and are not distracting on my forearms. What I mean is that they do not facilitate a 'pressure point' that becomes an annoyance. The bar length is adjustable to an extent. And clear length markers on the bars themselves assure even distancing. Overall I would recommend these bars for beginners and experts alike. Since the local weather has dropped off into the 20's and 30's they make my rides on the trainer worthwhile because I can settle in comfortably and wish I was outdoors.

It did the job, but it took a while to get them to sit properly on my handlebars because of imperfections inside the attachment rings. Little bits of metal kept them from sitting flush until I scraped them off. Unfortunately it scratched the finish on my bars pretty badly. Had to tighten the screws down pretty hard as well, but once it was set, it worked great. Adjusting the pieces was easy, and they were comfortable to ride.

Product arrived on time but not in the original container. It arrived with zero paperwork from the manufacturer, as if the product had been previously returned. It took me longer than expected to put them on as the product did not arrive with instructions. The two main reasons why i purchased this product are the previous reviews, and the discounted price. I will write another review after several practice sessions.

These bars are not bad. I could not try them out as I had trouble mounting them. The trouble is due to design of the bars being on the underside of the mounting brackets and trying to mount these on a hybrid (Specialized Sirrus Elite). These bars would work really well on a road bike or on any bars where there is plenty of space underneath the handlebars so that there is no interference with shift/brake wires.

Both Brackets Broke
Worked out well for the first few months I used them. Easy installment and comfortable. Both the brackets cracked recently when riding over. I am a 5'5", 130 lb rider and almost crashed. Huge safety problem and won't recommend at all.

The shape of the bars themselves seems very basic and I was worried they may not be adjustable enough to get into a comfortable
These were my first aero bars and they have worked well for my needs -- I use them on my stationary trainer for the winter. The shape of the bars themselves seems very basic and I was worried they may not be adjustable enough to get into a comfortable position. They end up being quite adjustable with multiple rotation points for positioning. The arm pads are also pretty adjustable. They installed fairly easily but my handle bars are thicker near the stim making the aero bars a tight fit for the C-clamps that come with them. One word of warning is that the screws list 8-10 Nm as the torque tightness. When I used 9 Nm on my torque wrench, one C-clamp worked fine, but the other stipped both the C-clamp/handlebar screw and they aerobar clamp screw -- so go with 8 Nm. Service from the supplier was excellent! -- they responded to emails and we worked out getting a new C-clamp so A+ for service. I'd buy them again for the price.
