I just put it together this week, and it was wonderful! All of the parts are numbered, there's even a ratchet tool included to help with putting in the screws. The parts are bundled by which section they're in, which also makes it easier to sort things out. I put it together by myself in a couple of hours. The pictures show you which area you're working on, the numbers line up great. I bought it mostly for the price, but it's really solid metal, and it looks just like the picture, and is really sturdy. Thanks for a great product at a great price!

**Q: Our twin mattresses are 12 inches thick.  Will it work?**
A: I bought 10" thick for up and bottom and the bottom portion was a bit tight and harder to roll but I bought some leg raisers for the bedframe and it works perfect now.

**Q: Does it separate to make two separate beds if needed?**
A: Yes. The trundle is independent of the day bed. However, keep in mind that while it’s a separate bed it’s still only a few inches off the floor.

**Q: How tall is the overall piece?**
A: 38 inches tall

**Q: Does a regular twin mattress 75" fit on the trundle since the trundle is shorter?**
A: The trundle is the same size as the top day bed. The arms are actually on the out side of the mattress ends, so the whole day bed is actually a few inches longer and wider than a twin mattress.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A quality day bed at a value price

We needed a day bed for when our daughter and son-in-law stay with us. Both are (for lack of a better wording) on the heavy side. We had looked at day beds locally at mattress stores, IKEA and Walmart(none looked adequate). I ordered this based on ratings(was a little worried about some reviews about missing parts). Parts were all packed well and numbered. The instructions were well illustrated and straight forward, came with a small ratcheting allen wrench that made it quick to assemble. All parts were there, even had spare bolts. I think it took about 20 minutes to assemble. The slats are rectangular bars that are spaced closely and appear to be VERY strong. I Bought a LUCID 8" medium firm memory foam/gel mattress on Amazon and it fits with more than an inch of clearance for the bottom roll out unit. The top of the daybed we are using an IKEA medium firm individually wrapped springs twin mattress that we bought locally and really like. I am impressed, this day bed reminds me of the good old made in USA products we had 40 years ago. Hard to believe it is made in China.
