noise level
Great generator. very quiet. About the same as my older EU 2000 , Honda generator.Easy to use. Excellent manual. easy to maintain.Like the fact that you don't have to tip it on its side to change the oil. runs my AC on our RV, no problem. It is heavy, but is has good wheels and a nice fold down handle for moving it. weights about twice as much as my old Honda, but twice as powerful. takes my wife and myself to load it in our vehicle, but we are not as young as we once was. (100) lbs. electric Start works well. all plug ins and controls are easy to understand. price was fair and warrantee, seems like it will be good. So far very happy with it. did as the manual says. ran it for approximately 8 hours, drained out the oil, (break in oil) and installed new oils per the manual. I used 10-30 synethic oil, as it's good for all temperatures. Does have nice lifting handles for loading. Also ordered the madnectic Oil plug for the unit right away. Glad I Did, as most new small motor engines seem to have slight slight metallic particles stuck on the plug, when changing the break in oil. For small units like this, there is no oil filtering device so recommend, the magnetic oil plug. seems to be a great unit and am extremely happy.

It's great!
The unit is as quiet as my Honda EU2000. It runs my trailers air conditioning perfectly even on ECO mode. On Eco mode running my AC it ran over 11 hours on 5 gallons of propane and my frig was on and cook a few meals on the stove and made a batch of cookies in the oven. The remote start is it must have. Yes it a bit heavy compared to a suit case style but powerful and extremely quiet. Run on great on propane and is surprisingly efficient on its propane consumption. Would definitely buy again.

Great generator.
I bought the DF4500i for camping, emergency back up and other miscellaneous tasks outdoors where electricity isn't available. It has met or exceeded my expectations on noise. It is/was far quieter than I was expecting. At 100 pounds, it's heavy but more than manageable. The handle and wheels are nice, well thought out. I read the instruction manual, added gas and oil and it started on the second pull. I also ordered the magnetic dipstick, good investment. I ran it with real light and varying loads for an hour and changed the oil. I added more load on and off for 5 hours and changed the oil again. I repeated that again for 5 more hours and this time the magnetic dipstick was clean. I changed the oil again, added fresh fuel with stabilizer and the generator is ready for it's next mission. My only suggestion is to look at WEN website before ordering on Amazon, cut out the middle man. I would've saved almost $100 with tax and sale price had I done so. I tried to cancel my order from Amazon to purchase the generator directly from WEN. Amazon wouldn't cancel my order as it was already in "pre-shipment" status.Edit: After 275 hours in the generator, I cannot complain. It has worked flawlessly on both gasoline and propane. It has banged away 24 hours a day for 4 weekends straight without a single hiccup. I would recommend.

Nice little generator
We've used this generator for a total of five nights so far, I also start it and let it run for about an hour once per month. It has performed flawlessly. We used it to power our small travel trailer while we slept at interstate rest stops during a three day trip across the country. The unit was quiet, and only burned about 2/3's of a tank of gas (a tank holds about two gallons I believe). It had no trouble powering the microwave or our TV, in addition to my wife's CPAP machine. If you are not going to be using it to capacity (in the middle of the night with no AC or electric heat), you can run it in ECO mode which makes it twice as quiet and I would imagine make the fuel last longer.I also ran the generator during a power outage one night here at our campsite. It ran consistently through a very heavy thunderstorm, through rain and wind it just kept purring along. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Nice generator
I needed to get a larger generator than the 2000 ish watt type I've been rocking for years. I was eyeballing the champion dual fuel with remote start but this was a good bit cheaper so I opted to give it a shot. I do like it. It's relatively quiet. It's not going to put your little Honda to shame but it's easy enough to have a conversation right next to. It seems quieter than my old Westinghouse 2200 watt. The dual fuel is awesome. No more clogged carburetors in the name of ridiculous ethanol regulations. It switches from propane to gas (if you have any in the tank) automatically so you've got some extra run time built in - which is nice. You can get auto propane fail over valves on the cheap as well. So you could run this for a while without ever having to tend to fuel. The remote control works but it seems to be buggy (could just be me at this point), but I've had issues getting it to work consistently. Electric start is really nice especially if you've never had it before, but it started VERY easily via pull cord as well. It's a bit heavy. I have a muscle condition making me weaker than most guys my age. I can JUST barely get it into the back of my truck by myself. Certainly a pain to wheel around on anything other than concrete but that's a given. The frame fasteners that it ships with were aggravating to get removed since you have to be under the genny (again, tough for me to lift up and tough to get myself on/off the ground - so just an aggravating step). The battery compartment is basically the exact same size as the battery making it difficult to remove battery, hook up terminals, and shove it all back in there. another couple cubic inches would make it soooo much easier.Overall definitely happy with it. I was originally planning on using this at my camp but it's too heavy for me to easily transport there and back. I didn't need all the wattage out there. I just figured the ability to remote start/stop would be nice. Which it would be but it's not necessary. WIll get a smaller one that lacks electric start (probably) but dual fuel is a MUST at this point. So nice to not have to worry about gas going bad or gumming things up (or trying to find an ethanol free gas station).

Looks good
It is a big unit but, that's what I wanted. Oil fill is easy access. The battery is a pain to remove so be patient it will come out. Runs smooth and it is pretty quiet for a big generator at that price point. I have ran it but not camping yet...season is pretty much over so I will winterize her and pick up where I left off in the spring. Im happy with my purchase
