Beautiful prints, beautiful pictures of roses. A feast for the eyes from page to page. I bought this book for my bedtime to help me imagine a breathtaking rose garden. Floating away to sleep comes easier with images of delicate roses and senses of their heavenly fragrance.

I would have included a picture, but I’ve bookmarked so many pages in such an unflattering way. This book is amazing. I had no idea roses came in so many varieties. I loved reading the history as well. I’ve been inspired to search out some of these types on my own and try them. This is a wonderful visual for beginners like myself. The photos are breathtaking. Even if you just have this as a coffee table read, you need this book if you truly love vintage rose gardening or just beautiful things in general.

This hardcover book is a joy to look at with many rare roses I have never seen before. It is organized mostly by color and it is giving me inspiration for meditation and painting. It is very calming and relaxing to look at and would be a great Valentineʼs day gift to yourself if you enjoy looking at beautiful flowers. I swear I can smell them as I look at these beauties. The author did a fantastic job describing each rose with a little bit of itʼs history and other details included.

This book is such a visual treat - the photographs are stunning and delightful, and the roses featured are simply gorgeous. I enjoyed reading about the history of the rose and learning more about growing roses. I found this book very inspiring and helpful as someone who has always adored roses but has never grown them (hoping to plant some at my new house soon!). Highly recommend.

I love the brilliant colors and the many rich roses represented here. The photos are spectacular, each one is not just shot to show the amazing colors of the flowers, but, it is so beautifully designed, each spread is a work of art. Every petal, rose blossom, bud and leaf is wonderfully laid out, carefully photographed with care and precision. This is a must have. It is so rich in color, I can almost smell the roses from looking at these magnificent photographs, everyone needs this book handy at all times. IT is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
