I’ve been playing pickleball for a while now, but this set really took things up a notch for me. If you’re looking for a paddle that feels sturdy but not too heavy, this might be the one. Build Quality: The paddles are made with reinforced fiberglass and honeycomb polypropylene, which, to be honest, I didn’t really know much about before using it, but wow, it really makes a difference. The fiberglass part gives your shots some serious pop, and the honeycomb core keeps it light but strong. The paddles feel well-made and seem like they’ll hold up for a while, even with some intense games. I was a little worried they might get banged up easily, but so far, so good! Performance: Out on the court, this paddle just feels right. The balance is spot on, not too heavy or too light, so it’s easy to react quickly when things get heated. I’m more of a control player, but even when I need to power through shots, it delivers. The fiberglass gives a nice boost when I need it, but I don’t feel like I’m losing touch on those softer shots. Good looking and suitable for beginners, there’s better options but for a person that’s just starting playing pickleball its more than Ok. Worth the money.

Perfect set of paddles for beginners

Paddles are made of quality materials and the handles feel great. The faces of the paddles are completely smooth though and do not provide much grip for spin or control. I wish I would have known that before purchasing because I probably would have not gotten them. I just subsumed at this price point they would have comparable grip to the Selkirk paddles around the same price. This is not the case. My old wooden paddles might have more grip than these. Otherwise, very good paddles.

Da JOOLA im Racketsport einen sehr guten Namen hat, haben wir uns für das Blue Lightning Set entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Unterschied zu einfacheren Sets macht sich sofort beim Auspacken bemerkbar. Die Schläger fühlen sich wertig an, sind angenehm leicht und haben eine sehr angenehme Griffpolsterung. Auf dem Platz zeigt sich dann die tolle Spielbarkeit: Der Ball lässt sich super kontrollieren, egal ob bei schnellen Ballwechseln am Netz oder bei gewollten Lobs. Die mitgelieferten Bälle haben ein tolles Flugverhalten und halten ordentlich was aus. Besonders praktisch ist auch die mitgelieferte Tasche, in der beide Schläger und die vier Bälle problemlos Platz finden. So hat man im Rucksack oder Auto immer Ordnung und alles direkt spielbereit dabei. Für uns ist dieses Set der perfekte Einstieg in die Pickleball-Welt. Die Qualität stimmt, das Design sieht sportlich aus und der Spielspaß ist garantiert. Ich vergebe aus voller Überzeugung fünf Sterne.
