House of Marley Smile Jamaica AUX Wired Earbuds with Microphone, Noise-Isolating in-Ear Headphones, Tangle-Resistant Cable, 3.5mm Jack Sustainable (Brass)

Really good earbuds. Yeah, they’re wired and sometimes the wires get in the way but when you’re out doing stuff, dealing with a wire is a much smaller hassle than having to dig through the grass or you pants trying to find a wireless earbud that fell out. The wires on these are much stronger than most (like Apple) and they are encased in some kind of woven fabric that doesn’t stretch or tear so the tiny little wires don’t break, making you lose sound. I can’t tell a difference in sound quality between these and Apples. My personal opinion is that these Marleys are a way better deal. My only complaint is that they don’t make a lightning connector option so you have to use an adaptor. They are wrapped adaptors use construction which is similar to Apples so the adaptor wire breaks and the lightning connectors snap off but even with that, these Marley’s are still much cheaper and they sound great…no complaints at all on the audio quality or volume.

Best quality audio I've ever experienced from a corded earbud, even rivals some headphones I've tried. Listening to music is an entirely new experience; it feels like being in the room with the band. I can differentiate individual cords on the bass, slide guitar, beats on the drum -- extremely impressive for earbuds. They also fit well, and there's a second set of silicon inserts included in a small box at the bottom in case they're a bit too small (for reference, I'm 5'9 and they're small but snug and comfortable, so most should have no issue wearing them). Cord is thin but braided, L-shaped plug fits the edge of my laptop just as close to flush as the plug-in for my cordless mouse (~1/4"). My only complaint is the controls on the cord: they're effectively non-existent. If you use an apple device you can control playback, pause, and accept/end phone calls. If you do not use them with an apple device, the single button present does nothing. It has a microphone though, so if you don't mind controlling these things from the device as opposed to the cord it's not much of an issue. Personally, I'm using them on a Dell laptop, so while the button doesn't function, its more convenient for me to use the volume and playback controls on the keyboard anyway, so it's not a huge sticking point for me. Otherwise, materials and packaging are all sustainable: even the tie used to wrap the cord is braided twine as opposed to plastic-wrapped wire and the sticker to seal the box is made of recycled paper. TL;DR: spectacular product, especially for the price -- I have two just so I have a backup :)

I got these after reading the review from who compared them with 3 other brands. I got them for the gym because I go with my son and I prefer to be able to keep one ear out when needed. I don't like wireless or bluetooth directly next to my head, so I always go for wired. With all of that said, I'm giving these a 4 star because they do fall out pretty easily. I'm always putting them back in place. The sound is good. They are comfortable. I like the look and style of them too. I've only had them going on 5 days now so I'm unable to speak on longevity at this time. I had to get an adapter to use with my phone since it doesn't come with a headphone jack (the phone doesn't). They work great with the adapter and I haven't had any disruption from it. Overall, I'll use them pretty often. I keep them in my belt bag (formerly known as fanny pack) in a separate pocket just for them and the adapter. They don't tangle up like most pairs do. Might be a tad bit of twisting, but nothing serious. As an example/comparison, my son's beats buds stay in place without needing to be pushed back in. These aren't awful tho. I've had worse when it comes to this issue. It's just my only issue. They are great for when I'm lying in bed watching things and want to move onto my side. Plus, since they aren't over the ear, they don't interfere with my glasses. Worth the purchase. All in all, I'm happy with them!

The House of Marley Smile Jamaica Wired Headphones are honestly a solid find. For the price, the sound quality is surprisingly good—clear mids, decent bass, and overall really balanced for everyday listening. They also do a nice job with noise isolation, especially considering they’re not over-ear. Marley are the top brand! The sound is amazing!! The bass is great!! They top any and all brands!! Sound, quality, excellent!! Tangled free cords!!! Marleys are the best!!

These have very good sound quality, especially for the price. The highs are crisp, the bass is deep (not thumping like Beats or Bose but these also did not break the bank). They are half the cost of the Apple earbuds that they replace. They sound much better than the Sony earbuds in a similar price range, which I have bought many times over the years. They also sound incrementally better than my Apple or Skull Candy earbuds (both of which broke/shorted out recently). The only earbuds I've had with better sound quality than these House of Marley Smile Jamaica arbuds were my $99 Beats earbuds that were excellent until one side shorted out (which all earbuds eventually do unfortunately, which is why I'm not willing to spend a lot on earbuds for everyday use & working out). Not equivalent to expensive audiophile headphones, but they are good for every day use. The only knock against them could be that the cord is pretty skinny, so I will be careful not to tug at them. Also, I wish they listed the frequency response. I couldn't find it in the listing, on the HouseofMarley.com website, or the box they came in. I think the frequency response is decent, but I wish it was stated up front for all the earbuds and heaphones sold on Amazon. This is the 5th or 6th House of Marley product that I've bought in recent years and I'm pleased with all of them - Everyone loves my House of Marley Bag of Riddim; I love the Liberate speaker so much that I've given several as gifts. The sound quality of House of Marley is equivalent to or better than spearker and headphone products that cost much much more.

Fine sound quality, but lots of static when moving around, and little unpleasant shocks to the ear during every listening session. Good build quality, beautiful wood color and metal collar. But the shocks. The shocking is very irksome. Will use them until they die.

These House of Marley plug in ear buds could make any song sound good. I’m not even kidding. When I saw that there are ear buds named after Bob Marley I knew I had to take a look. Then I saw Amazon had a pair on sale and I snagged them up. I’m SO glad I did. I got the deal of the century. Mine have a beautiful unique dark wood on them. They are worth three times what I paid…if not more. They come with two sizes of silicone rings to fit different ear sizes. I thought that was a nice touch since I have very small ears. I switched them out for the smaller size and they fit perfectly. They are so comfortable and lightweight. Absolutely no crackling or sound quality issues. They function perfectly. They did Bob proud! I highly recommend!

Mes écouteurs favoris depuis des années. Ils sont peu couteux, résistants avec une gaine en tissu, le son est de très bonne qualité. La mode est aux écouteurs sans fil, mais pour l'avion ou les produits branchables, c'est le bon choix. Je les utilise beaucoup et je travaille à l'extérieur, ils s'usent lentement. Je les échange tous les deux ou trois ans, en optant toujours pour le même modèle et en bénéficiant toujours de la même qualité de fabrication. Je vais en racheter sans hésitation.

Come dice il titolo, suonano bene e incontrano pienamente i miei gusti: hanno un suono aperto e coinvolgente, senza enfatizzare troppo i bassi a discapito delle altre frequenze. Penso che siano adatti all’ascolto di musica funk, ma anche di soft rock e pop. Riproducono voci e chitarre in modo trasparente e definito. A chi piace il suono degli Apple EarPods (versione 2012) piaceranno anche questi Smile Jamaica. Considerateli come la versione in-ear degli EarPods. Sono anche comodi e non cadono facilmente dalle orecchie, a differenza, per esempio, delle JBL T110. L’unica pecca: dopo un anno di utilizzo costante, la guaina del cavo ha iniziato a rovinarsi, però il cavo in sé funziona ancora perfettamente. Quindi considerando il prezzo sono molto buoni. Consigliatissimi.

The quality of sound is something different in it

Hatte die Kopfhörer sehr lang. Bin mittlerweile auf die little bird derselben Marke umgestiegen. Ich würde NIE WIEDER zu kopfhörern einer anderen Marke wechseln. Die Verarbeitung, Qualität, Sound, Langlebigkeit alles ist einfach so gut.
