RegattaWomens Rimona Waterproof Jacket

I purchased this jacket in preparation for various trips taken back in March 2023. Now that I have fully worn it for a month, I can now provide my feedback.As I was travelling to Scotland, it would provide the ideal weather environment to fully test it's function and durability.I considered a couple of the Regatta jackets, but favoured this style because of the streamline plain design at the back with no seams, vents or pleats. I feel it gives an elongated, non-bulky, slimming affect similar to a parka jacket.It is a long-line jacket and being 5'4, it covered all my essentials down to the the back of my knees. It features plastic double zip and velcro fastening on the main body and poppers on cuffs, main pockets and one on the front top and bottom of the jacket. The bottom zip was very useful when trekking as when opened provided extra leg room when needed with the majority of the jacket closed.Based on reading other reviews I did size up. Generally a UK size 14/16, I purchased a size 18 for good measure.Due to being heat intolerant, I wanted outerwear that would provide warmth without the need to bulk up with knitwear and jumpers. Only wearing long-sleeved t-shirts, this jacket proved its worth.The main outer pockets are very big and deep, which can easily house my purse, phone and keys. Smaller zipped pocket was great for hotel key card and travel pass.Another important requirement for my trip, was water resistant/repellent feature. So being in Scotland and experiencing at least 5 weather conditions in an hour, including snow, I can confidently say it has risen to the challenge, keeping completely dry throughout. I experienced torrential rain and was able to dry the jacket in a few hours next to the hotel heater ready for the next day.The hood (for my head) is not overly big in design, however it stayed up with no additional fastening and endured wind and rain.The sleeves are nice and long, ending mid hand. It has faux fur on inner cuff which you can fold up to be displayed on the outside. The faux fur can also be found on inner hood and neck area travelling down the front inside of the jacket.The jacket is fully lined (including sleeves) and has a toggle drawstring waist feature, but didn't use it for my preference.Overall I am very happy with the comfort, style and features of this jacket, which greatly adds to the value for money, at less than 25 pounds.Purchased in red and teal blue.

My coat is a perfect fit and very smart. I love it. Brilliant price too.

As the title implies, I bought this for use as a dog walking coat. It is the second one I have bought in the same Regatta style. It is not quite as well made as the previous one, and has no inside pocket unlike the other, but it is waterproof, fits me well and for walking the dogs with a price of less than £25, what’s not to like.

I have been buying regatta coats and jackets for years,regatta is a well known brand and the sizes are true to size.reasonably priced and always good quality.

Keeps water out but doesn't breathe

Fantastic coat for a fabulous price. Lovely and warm and well waterproof. . Good size hood to .

Lovely long coat, warm. A bit on the large side, maybe go down a size unless you're going to wear huge jumpers underneath.
